"Bird-friendly people, bird-friendly garden", a screening and a lecture on 24 March 2025 (Monday) at 5 pm at the Vörösmarty Mihály Cultural Centre in Bonyhád.
- Why birds? What is their role in the natural system and why are they so important to us?
- How has our evolving world affected their population and what are the hidden processes that have created
the most obstacles for them? - When did we realise that something was wrong and how did we try to fix our bad decisions?
- Modern world, new challenges: is it possible that we have "over-evolved"? Can the birds around us keep
up with our fast-paced world? - Where are we now? What does it mean to have a bird-friendly garden and why is it important for us to
have one? - Let's not just make friends - let's work together! What is a cooperative garden and what is its power?
- You are not alone! Help to get started, community to move forward together and expert presence in
unexpected situations - who can we count on?
These are some of the questions that will be answered during the presentation, where we will learn about good practices and ask questions, as well as interesting facts about bird conservation.
