This meeting will aim to share the initiatives and experiences of the Generalitat Valenciana in terms of climate change adaptation and public awareness, thus promoting an enriching dialogue that will drive concrete actions and deepen public awareness.
Objectives of the Event
- Highlight the experience of the Generalitat Valenciana: To present the policies and actions implemented by the Generalitat Valenciana for climate change adaptation within the MIP4ADAP and the promotion of environmental awareness, highlighting key achievements and learnings.
- Facilitate knowledge exchange: Create a forum for youth leaders, European Climate Pact ambassadors and other stakeholders to share their perspectives and experiences. This will include discussions on how strategies implemented in the Valencian Community can be adapted or inspire actions in other regions.
- Foster intergenerational and cross-sectoral dialogue: Facilitate an enriching dialogue between government officials, environmental experts, youth leaders and representatives of social organisations to foster stronger collaboration and mutual understanding.
- Make concrete commitments: Use the event as a platform for participants to make specific commitments to promote climate change adaptation and mitigation in their own regions, inspired by the practices observed during the event.
- Broaden the impact of the European Climate Pact: Use the event to increase the visibility and impact of the European Climate Pact, motivating new actors to join and strengthening the network of climate ambassadors and activists.

17:15 h. Panel 1: "The Experience of the Generalitat Valenciana in Climate Adaptation".
Objective: To present a detailed analysis of the strategies, projects and policies implemented by the Generalitat Valenciana in response to the challenges of climate change. This session will highlight specific achievements, such as the development of green infrastructures, water resource management policies and environmental education programmes.

17:45 h. Round Table 2: "Transversal Dialogue: Young Leaders and Ambassadors in Climate Action".
Objective: To facilitate a space for dialogue and reflection between young leaders, ambassadors of the European Climate Pact and the experts of the first roundtable. This session seeks to generate exchange of ideas and experiences between different generations and sectors, focusing the conversation on how to replicate and adapt Valencian initiatives in other regions.
