The Agroecology Day offers a possibility to showcase local, agroecological systems suitable for addressing the challenges of climate change and biodiversity loss through some presentations, discussions and an interactive workshop. In order to scale out and up sustainable farming practices and food systems, collaboration on multiple level is needed.
For that to happen, different actors need to get to know each other and their activities, sharing knowledge and experience and build trust among themselves. By creating a safe space for these exchanges, we aim to strengthen both agroecology and the European Climate Pact issues in Hungary, by identifying possible collaborations for action and advocacy.
The event contributes to the development of healthier, more sustainable local communities, and to the wider dissemination of the principles and practices of agroecology and the European Climate Pact.
