Climate journalism as a career:

  • What is the current state of climate change reporting?
  • What challenges do journalists face, and how does one actually become a climate journalist?
  • What career paths and challenges are there in this profession?

I took part at this event in collaboration with PRIO1 The Climate Network and the Klima° vor Acht association. I spoke at the event and explained how (in my case) podcasts can be a way to integrate climate change and planetary boundaries into reporting. The 30 participants learnt more about different career paths into the profession, and how media professionals can communicate climate-related topics in a fact-based and solution-oriented manner.
