Join us in Pontevedra, Galicia, for an interactive citizen workshop co-organised with the University of Vigo, exploring how we can build more climate-resilient and adaptable cities together. Set in one of Spain’s most internationally recognised examples of urban transformation, this participatory event invites citizens to reflect on the future of their communities and the role they can play in shaping it.
Participants will collaborate in thematic discussion groups focused on:
- Mobility and public space
- Urban climate adaptation
- Community and participation
- Galicia and climate change
Together, attendees will share ideas, experiences, and solutions for creating healthier, more sustainable, and people-centred urban environments, using Pontevedra as a living example of climate-conscious urban transition.
The workshop aims to empower participants to recognise their capacity as citizens to drive meaningful change through everyday actions, community engagement, and more sustainable lifestyles.
The event will conclude with a Climate Walk through Pontevedra, offering real-life examples of urban climate adaptation and helping connect the day’s discussions with tangible transformations already happening in the city.
