This workshop invites participants to tackle real-world sustainability and climate challenges using the Design Thinking methodology. Working in diverse, interdisciplinary teams, participants will explore community needs, identify key challenges, generate creative ideas, and develop and test innovative solutions through rapid prototyping. The experience promotes collaboration, systems thinking, and human-centered innovation, helping participants translate ambitious climate goals into practical and impactful initiatives.
Throughout the session, participants will strengthen their creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving skills while exchanging knowledge across disciplines and perspectives. By the end of the workshop, each team will present a prototype or concept that addresses a sustainability challenge and reflects environmental, social, and economic considerations, with the potential to evolve into a tangible climate action initiative.
