Farm to Fork for Climate Resilience: Advancing Sustainable Agriculture

Cross-border conference uniting Romania and Moldova to advance climate-resilient, circular agriculture under the Farm to Fork strategy, addressing droughts, floods, and water scarcity through practical, community-driven solutions.

  • Conferences and summits

This European Climate Pact satellite conference brings together citizens, farmers, researchers, civil society organisations, and local stakeholders from Romania and Moldova to explore pathways towards climate-resilient agriculture and sustainable water management.

The conference addresses the growing impacts of climate change - such as droughts, floods, and water scarcity -while promoting sustainable and circular approaches aligned with the Farm to Fork strategy. It provides a platform for cross-border dialogue, knowledge exchange, and policy reflection on practical adaptation measures for vulnerable rural areas.

Through expert presentations, panel discussions, and stakeholder engagement, participants will identify shared challenges and outline collaborative, community-based solutions that strengthen ecosystem protection, enhance resource efficiency, and support a just and inclusive green transition in agri-food systems.
