The European Climate Policy Lab is a pan-European webinar series that brings together students, young professionals, and experts to explore key challenges shaping EU climate policy. The Lab is designed as an interactive, policy-oriented space that combines expert insights with active participant engagement and discussion.
The programme features three thematic sessions focusing on:
- climate disinformation and its impact on public debate and policymaking, led by Justyna Ignaszak (European Climate Pact Ambassador and expert on climate misinformation),
- the future of the European Green Deal in the context of current political and economic pressures, with Honorata Nyga-Łukaszewska (SGH Warsaw School of Economics), and
- climate governance in cities and sustainable urban transformation, with Edoardo Croci (Bocconi University).
The initiative aims to increase awareness of EU climate policy among young people, foster cross-border dialogue between students from different European universities, and strengthen their ability to engage with complex policy debates.
At the same time, it seeks to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and real-world policymaking by connecting participants directly with experts and practitioners.
By bringing together participants from across Europe, the European Climate Policy Lab contributes to building a transnational community of young people engaged in climate policy and supports the goals of the European Climate Pact by promoting informed discussion, civic engagement, and climate awareness.
