15 July marks the European Day for Victims of the Global Climate Crisis, established by the European Parliament in 2023. It is a day to honour those who have lost their lives or suffered serious health impacts as a result of extreme weather events across Europe. It is also an opportunity to reflect on the challenges posed by a changing climate.
Together with Europe Direct Małopolska, we invite you to join our online webinar, "Living in the Face of Climate Change." During the webinar, we will explore the human dimension of the climate crisis - from climate displacement and its implications for Europe, to the disproportionate impacts of climate change on vulnerable groups and the consequences of delaying the energy transition. We will also discuss practical actions that each of us can take in our daily lives to reduce the impacts of climate change, support climate adaptation, and show solidarity with those who are most affected by the climate crisis.
