Key speakers
- Elizabeta Zijlstra Jovanovska is the Lead Link of Learning and Practice at the Transition Network − a movement of communities coming together to drive climate action across 48 countries. She is a community resilience facilitator, youth worker and non-formal education trainer.
- Alice Fonseca is Climate and Energy Officer at the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) where she is, among other things, responsible for activities under LIFE ASAP − a project working to accelerate climate action in EU cities.
- Paula Cardoso is a European Climate Pact Ambassador based in Portugal. She’s deeply engaged in community climate action at local level. For example, she supported the municipality of Vila Franca de Xira to organise a citizens' assembly on the climate crisis.
The EU Climate Action Academy is the EU’s online knowledge hub on climate change and how to take action, brought to you by the European Climate Pact. It’s a free platform where you can learn about climate change and gain the tools and knowledge to fight it and adapt to its consequences.
