The EnergyDialogue Schörihub - Schörihub is a district in Gmunden, a municipality in Upper Austria - brings local businesses together in a short, compact exchange format to highlight concrete needs and potentials for the joint use of renewable energy in the district and, ideally, to turn them into collaborative activities.
Goal: to spark project ideas and partnerships for the district.
After three short inputs on the opportunities of local energy solutions, the participating businesses present their needs (e.g., electricity peaks, heating demand, cooling) or potentials (e.g., rooftop space for PV, waste heat, storage) in short pitches (2 minutes).
Afterwards, participants work interactively in a gallery walk onneeds (electricity, heating, cooling, flexibility) and potentials (PV space, waste heat sources, storage, willingness to invest).
Building on this, initial synergies are identified and possible projects are discussed, such as joint PV installations, heating networks, waste heat utilization, or joint electricity procurement.
To conclude, the results are summarized and next steps are agreed upon.
The event thus offers a quick, low-threshold entry point into shaping a shared energy future at the district level.
