The activity begins with a discussion on the topic, followed by the cooking itself. Participants will prepare dishes themselves with the guidance of the workshop leader CPact Ambassador using primarily local, seasonal, plant-based ingredients.
After the event, participants are expected to apply practical solutions in their daily meals, such as choosing seasonal and local products and incorporate more plant-based options into their meals.
On 24 September, three European Climate Pact Ambassadors – Dóri Buzsáki, Csaba Lajtmann and Andrea Molnár – will offer participants an introduction to plant-based food and its potential to reduce our ecological footprint at Labor Café.
After preparing the dishes together, participants will have the opportunity to enjoy the food they have made. During the evening, László Zalatnay will also introduce the Nyíregyháza Basket Community and talk about the benefits of choosing locally produced food.
