Climate & Gender Workshop

How does climate change intersect with gender and power structures? Join our interactive workshop to explore environmental racism, gendered impacts, and lived experiences through a participatory Climate Fresk-inspired format.

  • Training and workshops

This workshop will explore the intersections of climate change, gender, and power structures such as patriarchy, colonialism, and capitalism. We will look at topics ranging from environmental racism and motherhood to gendered mobility and everyday lived experiences of climate change. Through a card-based interactive format inspired by the “Climate Fresk,” participants will explore key themes together, share perspectives, and reflect on today’s environmental and social challenges.

The workshop will be facilitated by Lena Eisenreich. No prior knowledge is needed, everyone is welcome! Participants will get a better understanding of how climate justice and gender are deeply connected, new perspectives through collective reflection, and a space to learn from others in an open and participatory setting.
