Climate Action Days: World Water Day

Celebrating World Water Day!

  • Competitions and award ceremonies

The school competition “Water of Life, Water of Death” organized by Primary School No. 17 in Chorzów. Its goal is to make students aware of the dual nature of water—as a source of life and beauty, but also as a destructive force. The competition is open to students from grades 1–8, divided into three categories:

  • Grades 1–3: create an artwork or simple model showing the contrast between “water of life” and “water of death.”
  • Grades 4–6: write a letter or poem expressing gratitude for water but also fear or sadness related to its destructive power or scarcity.
  • Grades 7–8: prepare a collage, photomontage, short film, or multimedia presentation showing contrasting aspects of water.

The document also specifies submission rules, deadlines, evaluation criteria (such as creativity, emotional impact, and thematic relevance), and notes that winners will receive prizes and diplomas. Submitting a work implies consent for publication on the school’s website and social media.
