Climate Action Days: Resilience în Nature Global Walk

Diaspora Solidarity Group represents Romania in the global “Resilience in Nature Walk” movement, a Climate Action Days satellite event. On March 21, 2026, Bucharest joins communities in over 30 countries participating in the global “Resilience in Nature Walk” initiative coordinated by Inner Green Deal. The event is part of Climate Action Days and serves as a satellite activity dedicated to reconnecting people with nature and community. Diaspora Solidarity Group represents Romania in this global initiative through a guided nature walk in IOR Park, facilitated by Teodora Akinola, European Climate Pact Ambassador, together with partners and members of the local community. The event follows a participatory and reflective format, combining a gentle group walk with moments of observation, conversation, and reflection inspired by nature. Participants are invited to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with nature, with others, and with themselves. The walk creates a welcoming space for participants to reflect on the relationship between nature, wellbeing, and resilience explore how natural systems adapt to change connect with others interested in community driven climate action experience a simple yet meaningful way of engaging with sustainability. The objective of the event is to strengthen people’s connection with nature, encourage reflection on resilience and climate responsibility, and foster community engagement around environmental awareness and sustainable lifestyles.
