Climate Action Days: Gmunden Climate Protection Award Ceremony

The Gmunden Climate Protection Award Ceremony is a public award event celebrating outstanding local climate action. It includes the presentation of a Public’s Favourite Award, based on an online vote with more than 740 participants, as well as jury awards and special recognitions.

The submitted projects reflect a broad spectrum of climate engagement: from kindergartens and schools to small businesses and medium-sized industrial companies; from cycling challenges to redesign concepts for a central public square. Together, they illustrate how diverse and tangible climate action can be at the municipal level.

The objective of the event is to give visibility to committed actors, acknowledge their efforts, inspire others, and strengthen a shared sense of responsibility for climate protection and adaptation within the community.
