This hybrid expert meeting will bring together researchers, policymakers, educators and regional stakeholders to discuss how climate action can be strengthened through upskilling and reskilling strategies, with a particular focus on territorial and cross-border cooperation.

The event will combine expert panels and interactive discussions to address key challenges and opportunities related to the green and digital transitions, including skills needs, governance barriers and the role of higher education and applied research in supporting a just transition.

Building on European-level debates and local experiences, the meeting aims to foster knowledge exchange, identify practical pathways for cooperation, and contribute to policy-relevant recommendations that support climate action at territorial and cross-border scales.
