A City Fit for Children: Mobility for All, Across Generations

"A City Fit for Children: Mobility for All, Across Generations" is a 45-minute panel session on the Mobility Stage ("Palco Mobilidade") of Cidade ZERO, taking place in person on 20 September, from 15:00 to 15:45. 

The session explores how urban design shapes children's health, safety, autonomy and wellbeing, contrasting current car-dependent routines to school with the possibility of walkable, bikeable, community-oriented cities, and asks what needs to change for children - and, by extension, everyone - to move and grow more freely. 

The panel brings together Catarina Freitas (Inspira Mobilidade, European Climate Pact Ambassador), António Gonçalves Pereira (Ecomood, Climate Pact Ambassador), Acácio Pires (ZERO) and Ksenia Ashrafullina (Lisboa Possível). The Pact's contribution to this session is the participation of two of its Ambassadors as panel speakers, bringing their expertise on child-friendly and intergenerational mobility to the discussion.
