The Circular Industry Forum – Technologies, Compliance and Human Capital

A one-day expert and business event organized by the Sustainable Development Foundation (Fundacja Zrównoważonego Rozwoju) as an official accompanying event to the Warsaw Industry Week 2026 trade fair. It is scheduled for November 4, 2026, running from 10:00 to 16:30 at Ptak Warsaw Expo in Nadarzyn. 

The format integrates expert panel debates, an operational case study session, high-level business networking, and a strategic Decision-Makers' Roundtable.

Core Topics and Climate Perspective: The Forum serves as a dedicated platform for concrete dialogue on how to execute industrial transformation in the face of global climate change, escalating requirements for carbon footprint reduction and decarbonization, the imperative adaptation of industrial facilities to climate-related risks, and the preservation of natural resources, ensuring that the process remains safe for people and the environment, legally sound, and economically viable. 

The comprehensive program covers: 

Module I – Technologies and the Circular Economy (GOZ) in Factory Realities: Modernization and regeneration of industrial machinery, predictive diagnostics, the implementation of renewable energy sources (RES) and energy storage supporting decarbonization pathways, closing material and fluid loops, reducing hazardous substances in process chemistry, and fostering inter-plant industrial cooperation. 

Module II – Law, Compliance, and Human Capital: Expectations of major contractors and financial institutions regarding non-financial reporting and climate targets, securing B2B contracts, supply chain audits aligned with ESG standards, reporting digitalization, and building workforce competencies required to deploy green technologies. 

Case Study – Environmental Violations and Risk Management: A practical operational session analyzing frequent errors in waste management records, greenhouse gas emission reporting, administrative documentation, and environmental permits, alongside practical guidance on facility inspection readiness and executive liability management. 

Decision-Makers' Roundtable: A high-level strategic debate uniting business leaders, public administration, local governments, financial institutions, and industry organizations to address regulatory barriers to climate transformation, green public procurement mechanisms, access to investment capital, and the long-term competitiveness of the industrial sector. 

Event Objectives: Foster multi-stakeholder collaboration by bringing together industry leaders, green tech innovators, financial institutions, public administration, local authorities, and the scientific community. 

Deliver actionable, implementation-ready recommendations for enterprises spanning low-emission technologies, legal compliance, financing, and workforce upskilling. Identify and categorize key regulatory and market barriers hindering the ecological and climate transformation of the manufacturing sector. Draft the working framework of the Green Industry Declaration and establish permanent expert working groups focusing on law and the circular economy, transformation financing, and human capital.
