The 1st Annual Meeting of the Climate Fresk Greek Community is an interactive, two-part event designed to promote climate literacy and strengthen the local network of facilitators, educators, and professionals. The first segment features a three-hour Environmental Workshop where participants use the "Climate Fresk" tool to map the causes and consequences of climate change based on scientific IPCC data. Following the workshop, the event transitions into a Facilitators Networking & Celebration session, which includes speed networking and updates on specialized "fresk" tools such as biodiversity, oceans, and the circular economy.
The primary objective is to transform complex climate science into participatory, actionable knowledge while fostering collaboration within the community. Held at the inclusive Myrtillo Café in Athens, the event offers separate workshop tables for English and Greek speakers and requires no prior knowledge to participate. This meeting is supported by Nature’s Canvas and Resilient Planet.
