It is my firm belief that we face an urgent need for climate action to ensure the future wellbeing of all citizens. At ICLEI, we have been supporting local governments to put in place the plans and policies needed to address the climate crisis. However, the risk of failing to include all citizens is particularly challenging, and I would therefore make it my mission as Climate Pact Ambassador to work on building a just transition, one that is inclusive, just and leaves no one behind.
