Meet our Ambassadors

My name is Meda and I will be organising monthly Climate Cafe events in Kaunas. My aim is to establish a safe and welcoming environment where individuals can convene, engage in discourse about climate-related concerns, exchange innovative ideas, and acquire comprehensive insights into the Climate Pact and what it aims to achieve.

I am the founder of the non-profit clothing exchange and donation platform and conscious women's community "Giver Tag". Nowadays, the ever-increasing popularity of "clothing swapping" and reuse is one of the best ways to combat the rampant consumerism that fast fashion imposes on us. The clothing and footwear industry accounts significant greenhouse gas emissions. Additionally, the textile industry is responsible for large amounts of microplastics entering water bodies. The damage and impact of climate change are immeasurable, but even big changes require small steps, which I invite the women of my country to take together. Will you join too?

Most of the time we hear scary predictions about climate change and the fact that we must change the world order to a more sustainable one. But Rome wasn't built in a day, so we should not force people to change their lifestyles in a instant. Instead we can create effective public education through culture, entertainment, experience and through simply being in nature. Without pressure, without criticism, with a smile, good music and a positive mood, we invite you to tame life together with nature, in small steps.

I am a passionate sustainable fashion enthusiast. I am a small business owner reselling vintage and designer clothes full-time as well as creating content related to sustainability in the fashion industry. As an Ambassador I commit to providing useful information to my followers about how they can take action and lead a more planet-friendly lifestyle.

I mix my passion for participative music and social phenomenon to activate, elevate, and bring people together. Combating climate change and transforming our human activities on this planet firstly require a shift in conciousness - from apex predator to apex healer. A fundamental part of that shift relies on narratives, storytelling, but also on becomin more aware and more empwered collectively. Co-created musical fun can help with that.

I regularly write articles on climate change and sustainability topics (1-2 articles per month). I host a podcast in which we promote ideas of sustainability and sustainable transport. I attend various media events as a climate change speaker and advocate for sustainable lifestyles, about which I regularly communicate through my social media and at public events. I also lead workshops and lectures at public events and for private companies.

Using creative forms of soft skills, workshops, urban sensory hikes, teambuilding, educations, performances, multidisciplinary co-creation, I call people to reconnect with nature. Building sustainability and cohesive leadership can be fun, engaging, transformative and alive.

I truly believe that everything starts from our personal connection with nature. Do we (humans) feel part of it or separate? I am nature. We are nature.

As Climate Pact Ambassador I will organise educational and awareness raising activities for Mykolas Romeris University (MRU, Lithuania) academic community and Ukrainian war refugee school Gravitas Schola students. I will also coordinate the pilot project of the Responsible Futures International at MRU aimed at engaging and empowering students and youth to learn, lead and act for Climate, embedding sustainability and co-creating an international framework of good practice for other world universities. The project will be delivered in partnership with the Students Organising for Sustainability and International Association of Universities.  Finally, as Vilnius was selected the European Green Capital for 2025 by the European Commission, I will engage and contribute to educational and capacity building activities from the Climate Pact point view.  I hope my efforts will contribute to the advocacy and engagement of students, youth and local communities in Climate Pact actions. 

I sincerely care about the future of our planet and wish for us to safeguard it for future generations. Even small steps today can help to minimise our personal impacts on climate. We can not afford to leave it for tomorrow. As is well-known that "There is No Planet B" and we need to recognise that not all human-caused impacts can be repaired. 

I am journalist by profession. After 10 years experience in reporting on environmental topics, I changed my career to the non-governmental sector and became the project manager of aclimate awareness raising project, based on gamification methods. It was a job I felt very passionate about, because in my daily life I try to  minimise my personal impact on the climate: I live without a car or driving license, I refuse to fly (for international travels, I take trains), my diet is vegetarian and I am a passionate clothes and things swapper. I am really pleased to join others who also fight for a greener, more natural environment and see what we can do together. 

As an Ambassador I wish to find the most interesting ways to communicate to the people about the Planet we live on. Learning about climate change can be fun and that is what I aim to prove.

I am an environmentalist, circular systems engineer, sustainable fashion visionary and entrepreneur, passionate about changing our clothing consumption and production patterns while creating new opportunities for people and the planet. There is no doubt that in order for sustainability and social innovation to gain momentum, empowering public participation is crucial. Therefore, I am ready to actively pursue interactive educational and communication activities, bringing together consumers, the business community, industry representatives and other stakeholders to reduce the negative impact of fashion together. 

I work at Taurage district municipality administration (Lithuania) as an advisor for climate neutral cities.  My thinking is that we all create a city together and therefore we all take collective responsibility for shifting the system towards climate neutrality, for us  today and for future generations. It is an opportunity to co-create the future of the city together. Therefore, my planned activities include creation of a climate neutral city strategy with a focus on stakeholder and citizen engagement as well as creating networks of green city ambassadors, also involving educational institutions as one of the primary role models. 

As an Ambassador, I am on a mission to get everyone involved in taking action against climate change. My plans involve teaming up with local stakeholders to make our communities more eco-friendly, expanding our educational activities at the community garden, and pushing ahead with my project, REPLASTICO2, where I turn plastic waste into cool stuff. I will keep visiting schools and events to share my experiences and insights, and I will be running fun workshops to show people how to reuse plastic in creative ways.

My main goal is to inspire, educate, and ignite a passion for a more environmentally friendly future.

Yes, I did! I counted elm leaves! I performed the performative manifesto "The body of the elm" claiming that Kamariškių elm is a significant entity in creating the identity of the restored manor. The coding of the meaning field is proportional to the density of the imagination. I raise a question about whether 80% of our activities are more significant than this counting of leaves.

After a close look at 13,948 pages, these theses became clearer. I counted four days of 3 hours. The crown of the peak remained unreached, according to a preliminary estimate, another 4-5 thousand. I am Goda Sosnovskiene, co-founder of a green community center Miesto laboratorija in Vilnius. I am very honoured to become Climate Pact ambassador. During the upcoming year I will be  sharing the best practises of sustainable everyday living and other climate-related topics with our local community as well as spreading the word on national and international level.         

My role will be crucial in promoting climate action and sustainability at the local and regional levels, and I will undertake various activities to inspire and engage individuals, communities, and organisations in the fight against climate change. Activities will include:
o Organising awareness campaigns and workshops to educate people about the impacts of climate change and the importance of sustainability
o Lobbying policymakers to implement climate-friendly policies
o Collaborating with environmental organisations and community groups on climate action initiatives
o Working with educational institutions to integrate climate and sustainability topics into their curricula and organise environmental awareness activities for students
o Encouraging businesses and industries to adopt sustainable practices, reduce emissions, and implement eco-friendly technologies
o Advocating for the principles of a circular economy, including reducing waste, reusing materials, and recycling
o Speaking at climate-related conferences.

As a dedicated Pact Ambassador, my mission is to bridge the gap between environmental consciousness and real-world action within our community. I am committed to organising and leading initiatives that promote sustainability, including events like the Vievio Lake Cleanup Drive, the establishment of sustainable meadows, and educational workshops on sustainable gardening. Through engaging communication strategies, I aim to inspire our community to embrace eco-friendly practices and advocate for a greener future. By joining hands with individuals and groups with varying levels of climate awareness, I am determined to make a meaningful impact in our region's transition toward sustainability and climate resilience.
