Zagreb County Tourist Board

Zagreb County Tourist Board (ZCTB) is an innovative destination management organisation, regional authority and non-profit public body focused on sustainable development and smart, responsible tourism. 

Through its strategic efforts, ZCTB has firmly established Zagreb County as a leader in sustainable tourism, earning the prestigious Green Destinations certification based on the Global Sustainable Tourism Council’s destination criteria, and becoming Croatia's largest certified sustainable tourism region. Since 2025, it has also been a signatory of the Glasgow Declaration on Climate Action in Tourism. 

ZCTB’s mission is to position Zagreb County as a sustainable, safe, smart, innovative and inclusive tourist destination. Its main goals are to promote sustainable and regenerative tourism, strengthening the county’s recognition as a sustainable destination; improve the management of sustainable tourism; and support competitive, balanced and year-round development of sustainable tourism. 

The organisation engages a wide range of national and international stakeholders through local, regional, national and international networks, including the International Federation of Travel Journalists and Writers (FIJET), the Network of European Regions for Sustainable and Competitive Tourism (NECSTOUR), Green Destinations, Tourism Declares, the Glasgow Declaration on Climate Action in Tourism and Cluster Central Croatia.
