Ecosia is a search engine using the profit made from users’ searches to plant trees where they are needed most. Ecosia is accessible via a free browser extension and each search generates tree planting.
Since 2008, Ecosia has been able to plant 146 million trees in 9,000 planting sites. Tree planting helps to preserve the nature in multiple ways including re-greening the desert, saving animals or planting alternatives to palm oil.
You can upload their free extension on your regular search engine to start greening your internet.
