This handbook is part of the European Committee of the Regions’ “Green Deal Going Local” initiative which supports the implementation of the Green Deal at the local and regional levels. It aims to provide local governments guidance to initiate and facilitate systems innovation processes in their territories.
Country per country, this handbook provides information on targeted financial and technical instruments based on geographical and institutional assets and vulnerabilities. It also provides best practices that illustrate how the adaptation objectives of the EU Green Deal can be implemented by local and regional policymakers.
