Description
The Concepts and Definitions for Organisational Pledges 2022 brings a compilation of key organisational pledge-related terms in the European Climate Pact universe and their respective basic definitions.
The Count Us In Employee Challenge helps communities of people and organisations with taking coordinated climate action. Aligned with the European Climate Pact, the collective goal is to set a standard for every business to empower their employees to take climate action, and to inspire 100 million employees to take action by 2025.
The European Climate Pact Template Pledges is an illustrative overview of the range of standardised organisational pledges that businesses and local authorities can select from (or be inspired by) when submitting a pledge via the European Climate Pact website. The list is not exhaustive and will be reiterated regularly.

The MRV Guidance provides an overview of what MRV (Monitoring, Reporting and Verification) of pledges is under the EU Climate Pact and what it is not, why we need MRV, as well as outlining the key components of an effective MRV system. This document also describes the different categories of MRV status given to pledges on an organisation’s pact profile, indicating how a pledge has been reported and the level of information provided to support the commitment.
