Pathway Pledges

Our pledge is to provide thought leadership and push research into the technologies underlying a sustainable role for natural gas, hydrogen, and biogas/biomethane in the global energy landscape in order to develop and implement climate change solutions. We will develop and implement solutions to reduce methane emissions from the oil and natural gas supply chain, the bionethane supply chain, and the waste sector, and publish the findings in high-impact journals and share them with the general audiance

- will provide an annual lecture to the general public on a topic that is essential to the UK's objectives of reducing greenhouse gas emissions to net-zero by 2050.
- will publish at least three publications each year that examine the environmental implications of methane and hydrogen emissions and explore climate change solutions, as well as, decarbonisation of energy systems.
We want to attend at least two international conferences every year in order to network with other scholars and maximise the impact of our findings. We have been publishing the White Paper Series which explores contentious issues in the energy sector.
The series provides globally influential policy analysis, bringing clarity to contentious issues related to the decarbonized energy sector.
- will hold a workshop to reach out to a larger audience and get feedback on our white paper series.
