Our actions – the Pathway

We pledge to bring the voice of European youth to the EU just transition, and adopt more sustainable approaches

We aim to organize events and webinars that bring together activists from different regions in Europe to discuss the Just Transition Fund and other relevant EU just transition tools. We also aim to engage in external events and exchange best practices on how to make sure youth is meaningfully engaged in the just transition. We will continue to follow the implementation of the Just Transition Fund in 2022 and engage our member organizations in empowering young people to actively participate in the EU decision-making processes and reach a real just transition in Europe.

We will:

  • Adopt a paper-free approach to all our internal documents, which will be exclusively digital
  • Promote the exclusive use of trains and buses over planes for job travels
  • Incorporate in our team building activities specific sessions where our volunteers can learn about how to make their homeworking as sustainable as possible through best practices (energy savings, water use, waste management...)
  • Exclusively cooperate with sponsors and financers that are active in the UN Global Compact and score high on its sustainability indicators
