One transaction on Polygon POS (Proof of Stake) results in just 0.0003 kg of CO2 emissions. Therefore on average, one tree can absorb 167 kg CO2 per year meaning we will achieve 835.000 kg CO2 by the end of 2023

As part of our vision we are deeply concerned about reducing carbon emissions as much as possible when celebrating events and all the different actions as part of the development of the green corridor. Thanks to being part of the incubation process in the Polo Digital de Contenidos, we are establishing a partnership with a startup specialized in carbon credits called Coolx.

We will be participating in "Greencities - Urban Intelligence and Sustainability 2022" as part of one of our milestone which is to participate and educate in this technology as a way to fight against climate change. As part of our roadmap we are planning to create a DAO by the end of September and we have a goal of 1.000 members actively involved by the end of the year.

We will deploy our NFT collection and smart contracts in Polygon, which is a blockchain that just have become carbon neutral as explained in their website.

We believe Polygon is one of the best options and make totally sense to use it specially once the partner KlimaDAO, a decentralized collective of environmentalists, developers and entrepreneurs that is widely recognized as a pioneer in the nascent, on-chain carbon market.

Inspired by the negative carbon approach offered by Polygon blockchain of being carbon neutral, and committed to safeguarding urban green spaces, we have pledged to plant a tree for every NFT created. By doing that ALMA's NFT collection also gives back to the environment.
