Beskrivning

At the core of the idea is the fact, that youth are not our future. They are here now. Their role is very important: youth are taking actions on climate change mitigation and adaptation. Diverse initiatives include educational, awareness-raising and behavioural change campaigns. Youth are also engaging in different national and international projects devoted to climate change. Young people also have a possibility to participate at local decision-making, that will impact their future, as well as have a key role to play in fostering intergenerational dialogue.
But are young people really the drivers of change? What does the young generation need to be able to fulfil its potential and be a positive transformational force? How can politicians interact with youth both at national and local level? Is the climate crisis the basis of any policy? What do we want, and when do we want it? These are the main questions to be answered during the webinar.
The target audience: municipalities of the EU and the Eastern Partnership countries.
