Description

Join us on 27th September at the 77th UNGA Science Summit to learn more about the importance of harmonized climate-related data and some of the challenges and opportunities that project entities face.
The purpose of this session is to facilitate a dialogue on initiating a roadmap for inclusive scientific-data collaborations between developed and developing countries on the issue of harmonized, climate-related data with standardized guidance as the critical component to enable forward-looking data assessments on climate-related risk to mobilize long-term capital for green and low-carbon investments. We will identify harmonized key performance indicators currently being used within the private sector. The meeting will also prepare input for the United Nations Summit of the Future, which will take place during UNGA78 beginning on 12 September 2023.
The UN General Assembly (UNGA) has elected, by acclamation, Csaba Kőrösi, Director of Environmental Sustainability at the Office of the President of Hungary, to serve as President of its 77th session.
