Satellite event: The Po basin together for the quality of air

The event marks the mid term conference of the LIFE Intergrated project PREPAIR on air quality in the Po River basin. The project, lead by Region Emilia-Romagna, involves various regions of the Po valley and Slovenia, and concerns reduction of emissions in the sectors: biomass burning, energy, transport and agriculture. Four years after the start of the project, regions and local authorities of the Po Valley and the Slovenian Environment Agency meet to share scientific studies and capacity building actions undertaken within the project, which will be the starting point for debating about air quality policies and strategies from the European to the local level. 

The high level conference, taking place on the 6th October, will be followed by a technical webinar on domestic woody biomass combustion on the 7th October.
