Satellite event: Moss-art workshop

From 5th to 12th September 2022 Cooldiga Art festival will be held. The festival It is taking place in a rural (Kuldīga) municipality of Latvia and is organized by Kuldīga District Municipality and Kuldīga Digital innovation Center. One of the key organizers of the festival is Artis Gustovskis, Climate Pact ambassador.  The center of the Kuldīga municipality is a city - Kuldīga, which is also the exact location of the festival.

On 10th September at 14:00 Latvian Climate Pact ambassador Daiga Zute in cooperation with landscape designer and gardener Solveiga Lapiņa will hold a moss-art workshop, where they will create moss mycelium yogurt color inscriptions, symbols. The inscriptions will serve as a message about climate, climate change and climate pact.

In addition there will be a small workshop for children about forest carbon storage. In this workshop, children will have the opportunity to assemble an interactive puzzle and then see the carbon pools in the forest ecosystem.
