Description

A more sustainable neighbourhood, future-oriented schools, a world worth living in? We make it possible at the Climate Conference for Porz at Jugend- und Begegnungszentrum Glashütte
Organized by children & young people
At the event children and young people will moderate discussion rounds and working groups.
We will learn from and with experts (e.g. from the Wuppertal Institute, Germanwatch and FOODerstand) how
we can become directly active for more climate protection in our district and in our educational institutions (schools, day-care centres, youth centres).
We get together in working groups and develop projects from our ideas that change our world and our actions e.g.
how we can make our neighbourhood and our educational institutions more edible, greener and more climate-friendly,
how we can eat healthier and more sustainably,
how we can develop and actively implement perspectives for the future in conversations and discussions with others.
We organise a clothes swap to show how we can immediately act more sustainably.
We will experience how good sustainably produced food tastes at a vegan buffet.
