Satellite event: Earth Day at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki 2024

The event aims to discuss the causes, mechanisms, and consequences of the climate crisis and the necessity of climate education and education for sustainable development through examples of global initiatives as well as actions taken at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh), as well as individual and collective actions that we can take to reduce our ecological footprint. The action primarily targets university students and then extends to every member of the academic community. It will be a highly interactive event featuring both speeches and the use of the serious game “climate fresk”.

The event is going to take place on the university campus and is organized on the occasion of Earth Day.

The event is organized under the auspices of the Department of Civil Engineering AUTh.
