Natural Farm Shizen is the practical centre of the Natural Farming Center (NFC), located in the Marche region of Italy. It serves as a living example of natural farming and regenerative agriculture, inspired by Masanobu Fukuoka’s philosophy of ‘do-nothing’ farming. The Center cultivates grains, fruit trees and diverse ecosystems, while offering a hands-on learning environment for volunteers, young people and professionals who wish to reconnect with nature through direct experience.

Its mission is to regenerate soil, community and consciousness by demonstrating that ecological balance, human creativity and food production can coexist in harmony. The Center promotes a holistic approach to sustainability, integrating farming, education, art and community life.

Activities include workshops on soil regeneration, natural food production and ecological design; Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps training projects; cultural and artistic events; and collaborations with local farmers and international partners. Stakeholders include youth organisations, schools, municipalities and non-governmental organisations from Europe, Africa and Asia, working towards ecological transition, inclusion and sustainable living.
