SoluCir is a regional network dedicated to advancing the circular economy in the Savoie Mont Blanc area in the French Alps. It brings together businesses, local authorities, academic institutions, social economy organisations and professionals committed to reducing resource consumption and accelerating the ecological transition. Through partnerships, knowledge exchange and collective action, SoluCir helps organisations and communities contribute to climate action.

Its mission is to foster collaboration and support the development of practical solutions that keep resources in use for longer and reduce waste. Through events, site visits, workshops, working groups and collaborative projects, SoluCir connects stakeholders, shares good practices and helps turn sustainability ambitions into concrete action. It also organises the SoluCir Forum, a flagship event dedicated to the circular economy in the Savoie Mont Blanc region.

A key area of focus is material reuse in the construction sector. As one of the largest consumers of raw materials and a major source of greenhouse gas emissions, the building industry has an important role to play in the transition to a more sustainable economy. SoluCir supports the development of local reuse ecosystems by bringing together public and private project owners, architects, engineers, contractors, reuse operators and social enterprises. Its aim is to help make material reuse a standard practice in construction and renovation projects.

By joining the European Climate Pact, SoluCir aims to strengthen cooperation with organisations across Europe, share local experiences and contribute to climate action through circular economy approaches. The network believes that reducing waste, extending the life of materials and promoting local resource loops are essential steps towards a climate-neutral and resilient future.
