Organising Bureau of European School Student Unions (OBESSU)

The Organising Bureau of European School Student Unions (OBESSU) serves as a cooperative platform for national school student unions and students engaged in various educational pathways within general secondary education, vocational training, and apprenticeships across Europe. OBESSU's mission is to represent the needs and interests of students, advocating for their rights through democratic political processes and fostering inclusive dialogue and solidarity.

OBESSU organises a range of capacity-building and educational activities for its member organisations and participates in EU and Council of Europe-funded projects. Additionally, OBESSU actively supports its members in advocating for their rights and interests to European institutions and other relevant stakeholders in the education sector. Through these efforts, OBESSU aims to empower students and enhance their involvement in shaping educational policies and practices throughout Europe.
