Okolo - Sady Vihorlatu is a volunteering collective dedicated to preserving heritage fruit varieties and strengthening the public’s relationship with locally produced food. The collective educates communities about growing fruit trees using climate adaptation methods, with an emphasis on the longevity and resilience of planted trees.
Through its activities, it contributes to building a more conscious society and fostering a deeper connection to nature and care for the environment. In this way, the initiative helps strengthen communities and create a more climate-resilient region.
