MOVE.BG is a platform for value creators and a think-and-do tank dedicated to finding innovative solutions for social transformation and sustainable development. Founded in 2013, MOVE.BG promotes constructive dialogue and participatory leadership in the green transition, with a focus on transformation through innovation.

A key initiative started by MOVE.BG is the “Green Restart Coalition”, a civic union of Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) advocating for Bulgaria’s green transformation.

MOVE.BG’s activities include:

  • publishing opinion papers;
  • organising public roundtables with politicians and stakeholders;
  • leading communication campaigns on green topics such as energy poverty and municipal green transformations.

MOVE.BG has released several influential reports, including "Mission Green Bulgaria", "Mission Energy Transition", and "Mission Green Sofia", providing policy recommendations from cross-disciplinary experts. In 2024, MOVE.BG conducted the first national survey analysing green challenges for SMEs, science projects, and NGOs. As a partner of European and global initiatives like “New European Bauhaus” and GreenTech Alliance, MOVE.BG continues to lead Bulgaria’s green innovation efforts.
