European Youth Parliament

The European Youth Parliament is one of Europe’s largest youth platforms for civic education, intercultural encounters , and the exchange of ideas – run by young people, for young people, since 1987. Our mission is to inspire and empower a young generation of informed, open-minded, responsible, and active citizens who shape society and drive impact.  

Operating in over 40 European countries, the EYP organises hundreds of events where young people discuss pressing European issues, identify challenges, and propose innovative solutions. Through the EYP, thousands of young people from all over Europe gain new knowledge, learn new skills, create lasting friendships across borders, and more. 
 
By engaging schools, universities, policymakers , and volunteers, the EYP creates a collaborative platform that brings together diverse stakeholders to promote young opinions. For almost 40 years now, the EYP has fostered active citizenship, strengthened a shared European identity, and shaped the leaders of tomorrow to guide Europe into the future.
