Ethereal Earth-pop duo Berne poetically use music to talk about issues they care deeply about: the climate emergency and social justice, while instilling hope for the future. Berne's activism doesn't just stop at music. That's why they created a low impact, eco-friendly website. To raise further awareness they built an interactive music map that highlights environmental initiatives around the world. Supported by the likes of EU DG Climate Action, #TheWRD from The Ivors Academy, BBC Introducing, EARMILK, Headliner Magazine, and Sound City, Berne continue in their mission to inspire and urge people to bring about change in the world, to highlight that we are in charge of the future and that together we can make a real difference.

I'm a Social Worker and currently work as a Social Responsibility manager for a retail company. I'm also a co-founder of Eco Social Lab, a member of the LIDERA Community and a volunteer in various social organisations. As a European Climate Pact Ambassador I aim to promote education on just transition and climate adaptation, with the main focus on the social context. Social and community development is key to addressing climate challenges and building resilient and developed societies.

I am a young European woman with a firm belief in the values of democracy, equality, and dialogue. I'm inspired by action and I act to inspire!

In my fight against the most urgent challenge, the climate crisis, I try to put the people and their needs first. As an EU Climate Pact Ambassador I wish to focus on just transition, climate education, awareness raising, and public participation.

As the professional manager of an environmental education foundation, I believe that education is important . My aim is to raise awareness among pre-school children and the teachers and parents who work with them. I don't just want to give information, I want to create a positive attitude. I want to work for climate protection in the coming year through education, developing educational material and creating awareness-raising blog posts. Mainly in Hungary, in the South Transdanubian Region.

I am a passionate advocate for climate action and social inclusion, dedicated to promoting sustainability and empowering youth. As an Ambassador, I plan to implement a cross-border project addressing the impact of climate change in our region. I will organize educational workshops in schools to enhance climate literacy and awareness of climate issues among students. By engaging with stakeholders at forums like the Green Matrix Summit, I aim to foster collaborative actions.

I'm a trained philosophy teacher, permaculture designer, and have extensive experience in small-scale ecological farming. As an Ambassador, I’ll focus on developing an educational forest garden and working with school gardens, integrating sustainability into all activities. With a strong personal interest in biological diversity and agroforestry, I aim to inspire hands-on learning and foster a deeper understanding of ecological balance and sustainable practices among students and the community.

I am an environmentalist made in Sardinia, born at 350 ppm and when the Montreal Protocol came into force.

I am passionate about human dynamics and how we can lead people to implement sustainable action by inspiring them through storytelling. My objective as an ambassador is to inspire sustainable behavior change by implementing good climate communication. A communication that is both about accountability and inspiration, that talks about vision and solutions starting from scientific data.

I am an LL.B graduate from NOVA School of Law, Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree and a leader in Sustainability and Social Innovation. I founded Generation Resonance, a youth movement partnered with the United Nations Association Portugal, and I am a Global Shaper with the World Economic Forum. I am also a recipient of the National Award for Financial Literacy. I specialize in sustainability, regenerative economics, and climate regulation and hold an ESG specialisation.

Vice-President for Europe and International of Nouvelle-Aquitaine, President of COTER at the European Committee of the Regions, I want to get involved in sustainable development and in the fight against climate change. Through its Neo Terra roadmap, my Region shares the same ambitions as the European Green Pact and wants to become an exemplary territory. Néo Terra, eleven commitments in many sectors (companies, transport, agroecology, biodiversity, energy ...).

It has been thirty years since I was first elected as a public representative. I am conscious that together on this planet we do not have another thirty years in which to get things right. More selfishly I want a planet that my grandchildren can live on sustainably.

As an ambassador for green spaces, forests, urban meadows and urban trees, I want to raise awareness of their importance. The ecological services of green spaces directly help with adaptation, while they are also tools for carbon sequestration during afforestation. Trees are the strongest cultural link between humans and nature. There isn't a fairy tale that doesn't have a tree, so this bonded so strongly when we were kids that we can understand why protecting our climate is important.

Having studied in various fields such as management, international trade, economic & social policy and sustainable development, I have been coordinator of the Belgian Fair Trade Federation since 2017. In 2022, I launched the Fair Trade Schools &Universities project which aims to create links between students and entrepreneurs. My goal is to participate in the ecological and social transition and to fight against climate change through awareness-raising and support for sustainable business models.

For me being a climate activist is a way of live. My actions typically focus on decision-makers, teachers, youth, media but at the same time I hope my every day choices inspire others to also take steps towards living within the planetary boundaries.

I was born in 1982, mother, engineer and President of AESS (Agency for Energy and Sustainable Development) , Director General of RENAEL (National Network of local energy agencies) . Past Major Deputy, Member of the Committee of the Regions , coordinator of "Anci giovane" Emilia Romagna. My engagement as an Ambassador will be focused on the promotion and dissemination of events on the topics related to the Climate Pack (in particular energy transition, ecodigital issues, sustainability communication in public sector, mitigation and adaptation policy, and the transition towards carbon neutrality) and on the creation of digital formats to let public and private decision makers express their voice regarding their own experiences and objectives.

I am co founder of Cycling4Climate and Sinkit. With Cycling4Climate we will organise climate awareness & action rides in at least 10 countries in 2024.  With Sinkit, a carbon removal cooperative, I will ignite and execute carbon removal projects and advocate for true carbon compensation and carbon responsibility.  Additional to this I give energy transition courses in high schools and I will organise the Dutch and Earth Overshoot day in the Netherlands. 

Since my early childhood I was taught that nature is our friend, not our enemy. But the way we are treating here is unbearable to me. Especially since Greta Thunberg created a movement especially for younger people I am constantly supporting my pupils‘ rights to live on a planet that is no more exploited but respected. It is my belief that we can fight the effects of climate change when we all unite and stop being egoistic!

I passionately believe that to meet our climate change mitigation targets, common European and Global citizen science programmes are required to support citizens to take positive actions to reduce personal carbon emissions to net zero.

The tools, techniques and infrastructure to make this a possibility are emerging and mobilising communities to use them and turn protest into personal action is critical.

I intend to mobilise both the European and Global citizen science community to this purpose.

I am a third year student of the Sustainable Innovation bachelor at TU Eindhoven. I have helped organize two Green Weeks at my university and I am looking for other means to participate and organize events to promote sustainability. I am looking to organize Repair Cafés at Dutch Higher Education to promote them as a viable solution to reduce one's environmental impact. I am also looking to partake in more impactful events and collaborations with other like-minded individuals and youth.  

I work as a freelance artist in the performing arts and believe that the role of artists will be important in handling the consequences of climate change change. As a Climate Pact Ambassador, I will spread knowledge among artists globally about sustainability and how it can have a key role in the performing arts. Working in the field of set and costume design, we witness the need for the performing arts industry to begin developing methods and tools, adopted both by artists and institutions, geared towards making the industry more sustainable. In coming years, sustainability will, alongside things like timeframes and economy, be a key factor to be considered as we plan and design our productions. A circular production model will free up valuable resources and retain unique competencies to meet the demands of the future.
