I am a Strategic Communications Specialist in Climate Diplomacy and Net-zero, holding an economics degree from the University of Milan Bicocca. Specialising in sustainable marketing, strategic communications, and climate diplomacy, I am deeply committed to environmental advocacy.

As a co-founder and active member of nonprofit organisations, including "Change For Planet," I champion collaborative efforts for positive environmental change. Moreover, as European Climate Pact Ambassador, I strive to utilise diplomatic finesse to shape policies and inspire collective action.

My journey has been marked by a dedication to bridging economic principles with environmental sustainability. I aim to catalyse actionable change, engaging with stakeholders at all levels to influence net-zero emissions goals—the intersection of expertise in economics, strategic communications, and environmental advocacy positions.

At the heart of my work is a belief in the power of collective responsibility. By inspiring individuals, businesses, and governments, I emphasise that safeguarding our future is achievable through collaborative efforts.

As Climate Pact Ambassador I will organise educational and awareness raising activities for Mykolas Romeris University (MRU, Lithuania) academic community and Ukrainian war refugee school Gravitas Schola students. I will also coordinate the pilot project of the Responsible Futures International at MRU aimed at engaging and empowering students and youth to learn, lead and act for Climate, embedding sustainability and co-creating an international framework of good practice for other world universities. The project will be delivered in partnership with the Students Organising for Sustainability and International Association of Universities.  Finally, as Vilnius was selected the European Green Capital for 2025 by the European Commission, I will engage and contribute to educational and capacity building activities from the Climate Pact point view.  I hope my efforts will contribute to the advocacy and engagement of students, youth and local communities in Climate Pact actions. 

I am an environmental journalist and the president of CliMates, an organization dedicated to raising awareness about environmental issues among young people. Deeply concerned about ecofeminism and oceans challenges, I am passionate about educating the public on these topics, especially the youth, so they can become active agents of change. Through awareness campaigns, workshops, gatherings, and documentary production, we create events and initiatives that bring us together to take action!

Collective action is extremely crucial for concrete environmental action. I recently co-founded Rethinking Climate to investigate how we communicate about the climate crisis through research and direct engagement with stakeholders. With this organization and personally, I wish to answer with experts those hard questions about the climate crisis so that we can expand this climate movement and apply at best concrete solutions. I have been involved in the accademic and research environment with a PhD from the University of Ferrara.

Environmental Scientist, Jurist and forever optimistic, I am well known to promote good practices and communicate on any actions that will have a positive impact on the environment. I actively contribute to raising awareness of the challenges that climate change poses in our rural area and globally. Through public meetings and activities centered around climate action, good practices for a more sustainable way of life and the protection of the biodiversity, I intend to bridge the knowledge gap.

I am a passionate advocate for sustainable development. At 22 years old, I am currently pursuing my master's degree in Regional Sustainable Development, which has deepened my understanding of the complex interactions between social, economic, and environmental systems. This educational journey has equipped me with the knowledge and tools needed to drive positive change. As a Pact Ambassador, I plan to leverage my academic background to inspire and educate, especially among the younger generation, as I believe that addressing climate change is not just a global challenge but a responsibility we must instill in the leaders of tomorrow. My activities will encompass educational workshops, engaging presentations, and impactful online advocacy. Together, we can work towards a more sustainable and resilient future for all.

I am a geoecologist working in consulting and sustainability training. I have lots of experience in leading positions in NGOs (10 years director of the Alpine Protection Comission CIPRA Germany, establishing and leading an environmental education centre, organising lots of events including international conferences etc.). Involving as many people as possible for climate protection drives me. I developed multiday-trainings for multipliers willing to engage for climate protection in their context.

I as an Ambassador promote fairtrade as a sustainable way of producing food, goods. Fairtrade principles must be valid for local farmers aswell. Organising small consumer groups of sustainable food could be one way. I share news and articles at my personal and association's facebook. During my daily activity I follow a sustainable lifestyle, using public transport, avoiding usage of oneway food containers, eating only seasonable local veggies and fruits. At both my working and living place I gather the people who share same values.

As an academic and One Young World Coordinating Ambassador, I combine research, teaching, and youth leadership to drive climate action. For this reason, I intend to create a program in Southern Europe that engages universities and young leaders through workshops, virtual roundtables, social media campaigns, and articles. These activities will focus on raising awareness of climate challenges, promoting practical solutions, and empowering communities to turn knowledge into tangible climate action.

Mrs Anna Häger is from the autonomous region Åland Islands (Finland) and holds an M.Sc. degree in Sustainable Development and a B.Sc. degree in Biology/Molecular Biology.

Her thesis work investigated the role municipal leadership has on energy transitions towards RES and she is a strong advocate for multi-lateral citizen engagement for holistic and systemic changes in sustainable infrastructure.

She's also a board member of Ålands largest ENGO and the local Sustainable Development Agenda Assoc.

Primarily I work for Institute for Circular Economy, Slovakia (INCIEN). In addition, I am a local council member in Bratislava Lamač and lead the Environmental affairs committee, as well I work very actively in Lamač with communities. I am also a member the Committee for environmental affairs and climate change under Bratislava council. In every area where I am active, I would like to increase other people's knowledge about the circular economy and its linkage to the climate crisis - to help them to better understand the circular economy as one of the solutions of climate crisis.

I am a biologist, university lecturer in teacher training and an activist (Reflex Environmental Association, Hungarian Climate Alliance). As co-worker and founder of the Hungarian Foundation for School Gardens, I am working in support programs and networking schools and kindergartens in Hungary, network-building of EU school garden knowledge centers. Children need nature contact as a vitamin, and school gardens provide hands-on, achievable, caring nature activities, also for climate education.

I am a young physicist and research assistant specializing in climate change. My work aligns with my role as an active member of youth organizations like Gaia - Unge for et Grønt Erhvervsliv, where I contribute to raising climate awareness. Through educational outreach, I teach Danish youth about the climate system, the causes and impacts of climate change, and alternatives to fossil fuels. I aim to educate the general public on the significant changes the climate is undergoing.

I’m a cultural project manager and curator working across art, design, and sustainability in Austria and the Czech Republic. My work focuses on connecting creative and environmental sectors through educational programmes, community projects, and green event management. Through workshops, talks, and local collaborations, I aim to make environmental awareness more accessible.

Our motivation is to pass on an intact natural world to future generations and therefore to establish a system today that enables a more responsible approach to nature. Social, economic and ecological aspects cannot be separated from each other. Therefore, our initiative advocates a fair climate policy and pursues the goal of a per capita budgeting of the remaining emission quota. We inform about this idea through various events and seek cooperation with other initiatives.

I have a PhD in Biotechnology and I am an emerita Research Director, retired in 2016. In 2015, I trained to be a Climate Speaker in Vice President AL Gore´s Climate Reality Project. I would continue giving Climate talks to audiences of varying size. My material for the talks comes from Climate Reality, and also from Research Institutes. My talks focus on the general facts of Climate Change, why and how. I am also focusing on sustainable food and farming issues. My motivation is: Change is based on knowledge.

I think that universities need to be beacons when it comes to transformation and that everyone involved with the institution should benefit from knowing exactly how they can get involved to create a better future. Achieving sustainable development by smart systems of participation, collaboration and the right skills is what we need to achieve for everyone. Therefore we need to rewrite our higher education DNA by combining more knowledge with more action.

I co-founded the Donut Berlin Initiative, a local Doughnut Economics hub. We build bridges among change agents with similar and related goals and promote solutions and tangible actions for everyone to help secure a livable future. I see the Doughnut of social and ecological boundaries as compass for tackling the current polycrisis, a symbol of hope and a tool to start action. I give lectures and workshops, at universities or evening classes, for NGOs or the public sector. But most of all I love to think about actions and tools that reach out to people who are not yet involved in climate, environmental or social movements. Communication is key and I have learned that unexpected, creative and humorous ways of narrating and showing the options and solutions we have, open hearts and minds to support climate action.

I’m Eveline Haugaard, founder and CEO of Rail Voyage—a fast-growing slow travel community with over 30,000 members, inspiring travelers to choose trains over planes for a more sustainable, low-impact journey. Previously a Product Manager at SJ, I launched innovative travel concepts, and now I’m committed to raising awareness of the climate impact of travel. As a European Climate Pact Ambassador, I aim to change travel behaviors, highlighting rail travel’s role in reaching Europe’s climate goals.
