I have been communicating my principles regarding climate protection to my environment for several years now, within the framework of this I regularly pick up trash, I have coordinated the construction of an insect hotel within the framework of a school collaboration, we have planted houseplants in several classrooms for greening. I have conducted attitude-forming conversations within the framework of non-formal education.

European Climate Pact Ambassador and founder of Company Project, I develop concrete and scalable solutions in the fields of the circular economy, recycling, and material recovery. My commitment lies at the crossroads of industrial innovation, environmental impact, and a just transition, with a results-driven, action-oriented approach.

I work in particular on structuring projects focused on rigid plastics recycling, waste reduction, the development of local value chains, and cooperation with European partners. I also contribute to raising awareness and mobilising public and private stakeholders by representing the Pact during events and strategic meetings.

My goal is to support a pragmatic, inclusive, and measurable ecological transition, capable of creating long-term economic value while reducing environmental impact.

I am a passionate climate advocate with extensive involvement in human rights and sustainable development initiatives. As a European Climate Pact Ambassador, I am committed to promoting sustainability and environmental awareness. Through collaborative workshops and digital campaigns, I aim to reach marginalised communities, emphasising the importance of a green transition. My objective is to bridge the gap between knowledge and action, ensuring everyone is informed and empowered to make climate-conscious choices.

I am a student at the European School in Luxembourg. For many years now, I have been in charge of speaking at climate events organized by our school to raise awareness of my fellow students on environmental issues. My goal is to help people of my age understand the challenges our planet is facing and show that there are simple things we can all do to make a difference. I really want to encourage everyone to be more conscious about the future and act in a way that protects our planet. 

I am a 33-year-old biologist, PhD student in Climate Change in Portugal, and founder of MudaTuga, leading the Composting Ninjas movement. Recognized as 1 of 9 fighting climate change by the World Economic Forum’s UpLink 2022 I focus on biowaste circular management and sustainability education. As a European Climate Pact Ambassador, I commit to organizing community workshops, street conferences, and educational outreach to simplify climate issues and promote composting across all age groups.

My mission is to support people and organisations in their sustainability evolutions through interactive learning experiences. In 2021 I founded “Resilient Planet”, a green skills training centre in Greece. We promote tailor-made programmes on sustainability literacy and climate engagement strategies to stimulate commitment and bring about change across large organisations that need to engage their stakeholders. The most effective ways of creating impact by 'thinking global and acting local' is achieved through intentionality and working together — collaboration and community play key roles.  To achieve my climate action commitments and maximise impact beyond the corporate world, I launched two Communities of Practice: 1. “Climate Fresk Greece”, a community of Climate Facilitators in Greece and Cyprus. 2. “Doughnut Economics Greece Network”, a community thats explores the “Doughnut Economics” framework and acts as a bridge between decision-makers, changemakers and citizens wanting to create change.

I am an organizational psychologist, environmental advocate, and president of Cittadini Sostenibili APS, an environmental organization in Liguria, Italy. I promote sustainable practices such as reducing red meat consumption and banning fossil fuel advertisements. As a member of the University of Genoa’s Sustainability Commission, I foster eco-friendly initiatives. Through workshops and local campaigns, I engage youth and citizens in climate action, striving to make sustainability a shared value. 

My name is Diana, I am a nature enthusiast deeply passionate about imagining and co-creating a sustainable future. I hope for all of us to connect with nature, recognize our impact, and take meaningful steps toward positive change. Together, we can build a world where care for the planet is woven into every aspect of our life.

I am industrial engineer with a PhD in energy transition, professor at the University (currently on a leave) and always active in trying to decarbonise our environment. I have been working in renewable energies for 30 years. Currently I am the ViceMinister for Ecological Transition, Climate Change and Energy of the Regional Government of the Canary Islands. Always trying to engage myself and the people in a more sustainable way of living and trying to improve the world I live in. 

I used to be ‘Global Vice President – Digital Marketing’ at Nokia & Microsoft, before retiring in 2015 & for the past 5y, I am a climate activist at FridaysForFuture. I am also helping all actors in the climate movement and related NGOs with pro-bono strategy consulting, trainings & workshops.

I am a passionate geographer with 13 years of experience in urban mobility. For the past year, I've been responsible for anchoring climate action within the Salzburg city administration. My experience has taught me that sustainable change is only achievable through collective effort. I strive to expand my influence by mobilizing local stakeholders, initiating diverse actions and dialogues, and making Salzburg’s climate initiatives visible across Europe to inspire collective engagement.

Two years ago, I began working on climate action locally, inspired by the enthusiasm around me. Today, with many issues competing for attention, I’m more determined than ever to bring climate action back to the forefront. My goal is to foster local engagement, celebrating small but impactful successes together. As an Ambassador for the European Climate Pact, I’m organizing events to showcase practical solutions, encouraging a proactive and positive approach to climate action in our communities.

I am an activist and communicator from Bari committed to connecting climate action with social justice and community empowerment. Through Fridays For Future Bari, I design and coordinate cultural, educational, and communication projects that make the climate crisis understandable and actionable at the local level. I believe sustainability isn’t a 'job', it’s a way of thinking. As a traceability activist and UN expert, I work at the intersection of climate, policy and storytelling. As a Climate Pact Ambassador, I’ll keep using words, networks and lived experience to empower young voices to write the future, just like I did with Fashion Frontlines,

As an ambassador from the cycling community, I will be highlighting ways to improve things, educating and reaching people on social media and through my app.

As chair of the network ‘Water & climate’, 14 municipalities, regional safety & security authority, management governance board, I facilitate exchange of expertise on climate adaptation. We develop public spaces for multiple uses: retain water, green oases, recreation. In the city of Nieuwegein where 2000 new houses are built, we use the SDGs to bring together ambitions to strengthen biodiversity, circular building, clean public transport and circular water management.

I am a social and environmental psychologist with a lot of experience researching the energy transition. My research examines micro- (i.e. individual) and meso-level (e.g. social networks) and macro (geographical, technical) drivers of decision-making and behaviour change in sustainable energy consumption. In my work I draw on theories and empirical evidence from multiple fields, working in inter-and transdisciplinary national and international research projects. My motivation as a Climate Pact ambassador is to talk to, reach, and engage the hard-to-reach segments in society and involved them in climate change related talks and actions.

As a professor in Maritime & Transport at Delft University Technology, I am active in research and education to achieve the climate ambitions for the emission-intensive transportation sector. I am convinced that transdisciplinary innovations (involving industry, policymakers, research institutes, and NGOs) and educated people with cross-disciplinary skills are instrumental to confronting the climate challenges of our time.

As a Pact Ambassador, I commit to activating as many individuals and groups as I possibly can to achieve the climate targets in the transportation sector, within the year to come. To this end, I will (1) develop an open-access online course (TU Delft MOOC) on decarbonising transport, (2) I will found an international project task force to promote a roadmap for net zero emissions ports, and (3) I will initiate an online webinar series on decarbonising the maritime sector to connect maritime users to innovators with climate solutions.

Climate action is most effective if we combine different levels of engagement and employ a plurality of approaches. Thats why i not only use my job as a "Klimaschutzplaner" to further climate action in my region (e.g. through Land-Use-Plans) but also use my time to further civil engagement in the area of climate change awereness and reneable energies (e.g. Solarcamp Altenberg 2024 & 2025).
