With 10+ years advising corporates on compliance, due diligence, EIA/permitting and ESG - and a lifelong neurodivergent lens - I’m relentlessly meticulous about turning standards into action. As an Ambassador for The Jena Declaration and a Climate Leadership Expert with UNEP/GRID‑Warsaw, I link environmental and social dimensions. I enthusiastically publish practical insights and proudly support NGOs such as Engineers Without Borders UK, the Wetland Conservation Centre and Open Cages.

As a human being, a mother and a global citizen, I have an existential and fundamental responsibility to do good and lead by example. As a biologist and in my role as an educator at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, I have the privilege to interact with the future's stake holders, educators, policy-makers and influencers. Witnessing the unprecedented devastation from mega fires and floods in Greece and the rest of Europe, it has become imperative to act with urgency.

As Pact Ambassador, I commit to sharing knowledge through science, working towards a better understanding of the mechanisms of life; macro and micro worlds. My aim will be to raise awareness of environmental issues among multi-disiplinary groups and different educational tiers; primary education to post-graduate level. I intend to introduce innovative teaching tools for better student engagement and development of skills to enhance learning and an understanding of climate change.

As President of the Scientific Committee of NGO ECOCITY and an environmental lawyer, I combine legal expertise with grassroots climate action. Through campaigns like ECOMOBILITY and FREE MOBILITY, we empower youth—including vulnerable groups—to promote sustainability. I actively support national and EU climate policy and am committed to advancing inclusive, science-based climate action through education, advocacy, and collaboration.

My goal is to present what can be done to help preserve our environment and help raise awareness in communities not just in my Podravje region and Slovenia but across the whole EU so as to make things in more sustainable, circular and  environmentally friendly ways, across both public and private sectors.

My name is Anastasios Kotsiras and I am a creative content designer and animator, living in Athens Greece.

I am also a young parent, and that was the main reason for me to use my knowledge and specialties in creating the eco-educational project "Save your Planet".

In the process of creating the project, I got involved in the environmental issues, the problems of our planet, and how to save our planet.

With a diverse portfolio of communication, research, and business development roles spanning several European countries, I have had the opportunity to collaborate with renowned international organizations such as The Exploration Company, NATO, and the European Commission. In the space sector, I actively contribute to organizations, including the International Institute of Space Law, the Association for International Legal Research on Space Sustainability, and OpenSpace International. My involvement extends to research initiatives, such as the Space Generation Advisory Council's Near Earth-Objects, Space Law & Policy, and Space Safety & Sustainability Project Groups.

As an ambassador for the European Climate Pact in Greece, a part of the European Green Deal, I have actively participated in numerous advocacy campaigns and citizen empowerment initiatives across Europe. At the same time, I have actively participated in high-level EU policy dialogues with Frans Timmermans, the Executive Vice President of the European Commission, and Virginijus Sinkevicius, the Commissioner for Environment, in Brussels. I also met with Guðni Thorlacius Jóhannesson, the President of Iceland, in Reykjavik to discuss the significant role of youth and citizen participation

Academically, I hold a BA in International Business Management and an M.Sc. in Human Resources Management, while currently pursuing a Law degree. This multidisciplinary educational foundation equips me with a unique blend of business acumen, legal expertise, and strategic insight, enabling me to approach complex challenges with a holistic perspective.

I will focus on developing systematic education for young people on environmental topics through the creation of educational videos for schools. However, I will continue to address the general public on these subjects, through my social networks, which I plan to expand with video interviews revealing greenwashing and discussing the commitments of both small and large companies.

As EAERE president-elect, EIT Climate KIC HUB director, UN SDSN Europe co-chair, I will act as an ambassador for the Climate Pact and advocate for active participation of "all parts of society" - researchers, innovators and technology developers, enterprises, workers, consumers and citizens and their organizations- for mobilizing the transition to climate neutrality and the implementation of the EGD and the UN SDGs.

I am an economist with a Master’s in Sustainable Accounting, Finance & Governance, and experience in EU-funded projects, sustainable mobility, and governance. As a licensed accountant and active volunteer, including coordinating Generation Youth and serving in the Larissa Youth Council, I empower young people through workshops and initiatives linking local action to broader European climate impact.

As a lecturer at the University of Primorska, I am deeply committed to embedding the principles of climate protection into both my academic teaching and community involvement. Through my work at the university and my collaborations with local organizations, I strive to educate, advocate, and act for sustainable development in our community. I believe that climate action is intrinsically tied to human rights, and it is this perspective that I aim to share as an EU Climate Pact Ambassador.

My background in chemical engineering, environmental science, innovations, community organizing and education has equipped me with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively promote climate actions. Also as a lifelong climate activist, speaker, moderator and climate solution innovator, I have been deeply committed to environmental causes. Also,I am a dedicated UN volunteer focused on climate change solutions holding multiple certifications as a climate professional.

I, Emilie Kovacs, as an impact journalist,stand before you today to take on the role of an active ambassador for the Climate Pact. I believe that we all have a responsibility to engage with the pressing issues of climate change and sustainable development. I am an economist, international tourism and sustainability expert, blogger, podcaster and member of the Global Sustainability Tourism Council. My activities are primarily focused on projects that encourage the tourism of the future and the construction of a sustainable tourism sector. The focus of my consulting activity is on sustainable initiatives and projects in the Danube area. Committed to climate protection, I am also a signatory of the UN Glasgow Declaration in Climate Action.

I believe that food is tied to many aspects of life. Food is a political act and a solid social institution. Food is a cultural matter after all. I would like to write a new narrative about the way we eat because it affects our roots, our ground, and our future.  

Hey, My name is Veronika Kralova and I'm from the Czech Republic. I study at the Faculty of Law in Prague and I work at the Academy of Sciences at the Centre for Climate Law and Sustainability. I'm one of the founders of Mater Nostra, a University association that focuses on the climate crisis as well as feminism and LGBTQ+ rights.

As an ambassador, I will be spreading awareness about the climate crisis by organizing events and creating workshops. Moreover, I will be educating myself by attending workshops and lectures organised by the Climate Pact.

As a local council member and climate advocate, I work with local governments to promote sustainable policies and foster community climate awareness. I engage with students in schools, organize public lectures, and build regional connections to bridge diverse perspectives on climate. Currently pursuing an MSc in Sustainability Science, I’m passionate about the dynamic links between society and the environment, striving to inspire sustainable practices through inclusive and impactful initiatives.

I am environmental advocate and civic activist based in Riga, Latvia. 
Waste incineration is one of the most controversial questions in Europe’s waste and climate policy.
For too long, it’s been sold as a quick fix to shrink landfills and produce energy. But the truth is clear: pollutes the environment, fuels climate change, and diverts us from real solutions like reduction, reuse, and recycling. 
People need to hear about the alternatives and why incineration belongs to the past.

I act as a vice-rector for International Cooperation at Bialystok University of Technology and a Head of Department of Sustainable Construction and Building Systems. I focus on international and interdisciplinary projects related to sustainable development of the building and energy sectors, green infrastructure and continuous changes in cities. I am actively engaged in actions addressed at the young generations in solution areas helpful in the fight against climate change. I plan future projects and publications in this area as well as organisation of and participation in various events, including conferences, workshops and discussion panels that create platforms that are indispensable for sharing information, experiences and the creation new ideas. I believe that working together in an interdisciplinary and international environment, we will achieve our intended goals.
