As a founder of Foodobox, my goal is to engage as many players of the food business in Bulgaria (and other countries, too) to join our green cause against food waste. 

I would like to rise the awareness on this specific problem as we live in a paradox-there is so many starving people and more than enough food to feed them all, that ends up in the garbage.

I am an educator responsible for promoting environmental education and serving as Coordinator of the Climate Resilience and Change Island Schools Network. As an Ambassador of the European Climate Pact, I intend to work to advance climate education through a holistic whole-school approach. My initiatives include trainings, workshops, and awareness campaigns focused on climate action, best practices for reducing schools’ climate footprints, supporting their transition toward climate neutrality, and strengthening education for protection against extreme weather events.

The Mediterranean, 0,8% of the seas and 7.5% of the world marine biodiversity, warms 20% more than the average. A first step to a net zero Med transport is the reduction of the sulphur in fuels used by ships (MED ECA - Emission Control Area). Already existing ECAs (North America, Baltic & North Sea, Chinese Sea) led to more than 50% cuts in ship emissions. My activity is focusing on awareness raising and facilitating MED ECA designation and set up of zero emissions maritime deployment projects.

I am an environmental educator and activist, organizing cleanups in 13 countries and delivering talks in schools to raise awareness about climate action. I publish content in Spanish to educate the Spanish-speaking world, where environmental education is lacking. I address harsh realities like wildlife mistreatment and government inaction. As a European Climate Pact Ambassador, I will engage communities and educate on waste management while promoting sustainable practices through social media.

I am a mum of four with a life long love of nature and a deep aversion to waste of any kind. I work full time as a local representative County Councillor. This means I am working closely with our Local Government to support their work on climate action and biodiversity loss and help bridge the gap between policy and action at local level. This can often mean supporting communities to access correct information on climate action projects and feed back concerns the public have. 

I am volunteer Chairperson of our local tidy towns organisation Keep Kilkenny Beautiful and I believe this is the most powerful organisation for climate action in communities in Ireland. Increasingly Keep Kilkenny Beautiful works on a lot of projects aimed at reducing our carbon footprint and halting biodiversity loss. We do this through programmes to eliminate invasive species, improve water quality highlight waste and encouraging waste reduction by doing more with less. 

Iulia is an architect and one of the founders of Charger[.ro].

Charger[.ro] is a Romanian startup that develops innovative, sustainable charging solutions for electric vehicles (EVs), renewable energy, and smart city projects. We offer a comprehensive platform that integrates EV charging stations, photovoltaic panels, and other green technologies to promote the use of renewable energy. The company's goal is to support the transition to greener urban environments by providing efficient and eco-friendly charging infrastructure.

Through Charger, we provide a complete service range from consultancy, technical design and to installation and connected services (software management, maintenance, insurance, operational leasing – through partners), aimed at both individuals and businesses. Our mission is to deliver safe, fast, and simple access to a comprehensive array of verified and reliable products, ensuring end-customers can make informed and efficient choices in the clean-tech solutions industry.

As a Climate ambassador, I will focus on climate education & awareness-raising and promote biodiversity, green areas protection and development of green skills.

One of the main objectives will be to bring citizens, volunteers, experts, businesses, politicians and Institutions together and facilitate conversations about climate change.

I am a Principal Banker with European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. It is my personal mission to raise awareness of green financing within our clients as well as all stakeholders in the region. I would like to continue to promote the use of sustainable finance for SMEs and corporates in Romania. Another important interest is education and as a Pact Ambassador, I would like to contribute to raising awareness of children on the importance of climate action.

I am the Head of the newly established Youth Council of the Municipality of Ermionida, committed to climate action and sustainability. I want to focus on improving the climate impact in my distinct local community by organizing initiatives centered on sustainable fishing and agriculture. As a European Climate Pact Ambassador, my goal is to foster a culture of sustainability that not only benefits our environment but also enhances the resilience and well-being of our community, Ermionida.

I am originally from France and began my career as a financial auditor but decided to change fields, obtaining a teaching certification in economics and sociology in 2013. In 2018, I moved to Italy and won a scholarship to undertake a Ph.D. in economic sociology at the University of Milan. During this time, I conducted one of the first European studies examining the ability of energy communities to promote greater democracy and justice, with a specific focus on the role of women in the renewable energy sector. I successfully completed my Ph.D. in December 2022 and am currently employed as a researcher at the University of Trento, where I continue to explore themes related to democracy, justice, and the involvement of women in the energy sector. Since 2019, I have also taken the initiative to establish an association that organises activities and workshops centered around sustainability and the preservation of Lake Como, where I live.

I am the head of the Green Festival Foundation - the organizer of the international environmental film festival, the seven edition of which took place in Krakow, and the eighth will take place in August 2025. In addition, I am the organizer of ecological education events for young people called Akademia Klimatu organized since 2019, in which 20,000 young people have participated since then.

I am 23 years old and currently pursuing a Master's in Project Management. As Vice President of Youthify, an NGO focused on sustainability, I am working on our first project to engage young people in understanding their carbon footprint. With experience in Social Media Management and Digital Marketing, I am committed to raising awareness about climate action through campaigns, blogs, and workshops.

I am a university professor passionate about inspiring the next generation on the importance of climate engagement. As an ambassador, I will work to mainstream climate and environmental issues into my school's curiculum. I want to make sure students of all backgrounds and degrees understand the complex nature of the crisis facing us. At the same time, I will work so that they also have the passion and tools to help transform society.

With 20 years in international consultancy and capacity building, I lead INOMER as President, designing, implementing, and evaluating projects for multilateral organisations and governments. I also develop social initiatives through SHAREbyINOMER, advancing climate action, gender equality, and science-based multidisciplinary projects, training, and research. As a mentor in innovation and sustainable development, I work with individuals and teams to drive impactful solutions to global challenges.

I am a violinist, conductor, and composer based in Paris, passionate about integrating music, art, and climate action. At the same time, I am a musician of "Jeunes Talents" Association in France, one of the four selected members of "Personnalité Amie du Comité UNICEF Île-de-France”, an “Artist for The Amazon" of the Amazon Aid Foundation, among others. As part of my Master’s research at the Paris Conservatoire, I delve into interdisciplinary collaborations to inspire individual actions on environmental sustainability. As a Pact Ambassador, I will be organising a series of virtual and in-person events throughout the year, collaborating with artists from different domains. These events, starting in suburbs and disadvantaged communities in Île-de-France and expanding to an Eastern European tour, aim to reach diverse audiences, especially young people less familiar with climate challenges, to spur meaningful action.

My purpose in life is to facilitate a communication revolution for a healthier planet by providing international communication expertise, guidance and services, empowering clients, often from marginalised communities, and partners to communicate in an uncertain world in an incisive and professional manner. Climate Change affects all of us. We should all have climate change at the heart of our communications, so we can build a better tomorrow together, united in our diversity.

I co-founded the European Debate Initiative (EDI), which engages young citizens in EU policy debates. EDI won the European Citizen Prize in 2021. I also serve on the boards of New Europe and SAGA, working on democracy and youth engagement. As part of Denmark’s Team Europe Direct, I contribute to EU public debates. I’m currently pursuing a law degree and work at Denmark’s Ministry of Environment. My experience includes roles in the Danish Parliament, the Foreign Service, and various NGOs.

If you can’t measure it you can’t change it. In my ambassadorship, I focuse on bringing science into the sustainability talks. I advocate the use of science based measures like lifecycle assessments and system-thinking to drive zero-carbon transportation and production.

Through my background in sustainable territorial development and climate change, my mission is to support the transition towards diverse regenerative futures. I seek to spark collective action within youth networks and local communities across Europe and beyond.

As an ambassador, I will support activities to create alliances among multiple societal stakeholders such as community-led initiatives, activists, the youth and citizens to promote climate and social justice at the heart of the transition.
