I am a nature lover, biologist and climate change specialist. At Climathon, I have worked to create a networking space between citizens and public and private entities. From Fridays for Future, I have empowered youth to take action for the climate. I propose to create my own Instagram account to raise awareness and educate about climate change, sharing local actions. In addition, I want to organise a community event with talks, workshops and interactive activities uniting various associations.

My purpose in life is to facilitate a communication revolution for a healthier planet by providing international communication expertise, guidance and services, empowering clients, often from marginalised communities, and partners to communicate in an uncertain world in an incisive and professional manner. Climate Change affects all of us. We should all have climate change at the heart of our communications, so we can build a better tomorrow together, united in our diversity.

Through my background in sustainable territorial development and climate change, my mission is to support the transition towards diverse regenerative futures. I seek to spark collective action within youth networks and local communities across Europe and beyond.

As an ambassador, I will support activities to create alliances among multiple societal stakeholders such as community-led initiatives, activists, the youth and citizens to promote climate and social justice at the heart of the transition. 

Dr. Escribà-Gelonch is a flow chemistry researcher with expertise in the development and assess of sustainable processes, with a wide postdoctoral experience around Europe. His research interest lies in Circular Economy, the redefinition of waste and reuse of materials in food systems, solving complex problems through eco-friendly solutions. In 2016, he was awarded with the winning prize in Green Pharmaceuticals Research by Mountain Mogan International Summit on Green Pharmaceuticals.

Hello, my name is Nef and I live in Blanca, a small town in Murcia, in Spain.

Why do I want to be a European ambassador for the Green Pact? Because I live in an environmentally privileged place and it is necessary to make the population aware of its care and protection.

Every small action helps in the care and protection of the environment, we can all do our bit to a greater or lesser extent.

I am working in Granada Energy Office, doing already all of these things because of my job, so I would continue developing my job, supporting Granada province municipalities to implement solutions to tackle climate change, but as well, I am open to increase this effort participating in other institutions events (as I usually do), promoting these ambassador initiative among other local stakeholders that I know that could be ambassadors as well.

With a rich educational background, I bridge nutrition and climate action. I’ve led educational initiatives where I connected food choices with environmental impacts, inspiring audiences to adopt food sustainable practices. My extensive NGO experience includes crafting education plans and mobilizing communities, fueling my commitment to advancing sustainable food systems. I am committed to fostering collaboration and driving systemic change towards a healthier, climate-conscious Europe.

There is no doubt that Climate Change is THE BIG CHALLENGE we must overcome for our next generations. Tackling the social transformation needed to minimise its effects is a drive that must be addressed in our daily lives. As an ambassador, my goal is to raise awareness by sharing my knowledge. By carrying out playful educational projects in real-life scenarios. Offering different points of view to be able to face change with learning guarantees. Let's get started?

As a European Climate Pact Ambassador, I am committed to inspiring positive change by fostering community awareness, particularly among underserved groups, about the benefits of sustainable transportation. Through educational materials, community workshops, and active participation in climate-related events, I aim to drive local action and contribute to the broader European climate agenda. Soy bióloga, activista y futura docente. Llevo 2 años con puestos de responsabilidad en torno a la reforestación y el compromiso con la sosteniblidad en la asociación juvenil equipo Europa. Soy la vocal de juventud en la asociación ecologista ADEGA. Considero que desde la educación, tanto como formal como no formal podemos concienciar y cambiar la sociedad a mejor. La juventud es el futuro, por lo que me gustaría incidir con mis acciones en este segmento de la población. TRANSLATION: I am a biologist, activist and future teacher. I have been working for 2 years in positions of responsibility around reforestation and commitment to sustainability in the youth association Equipo Europa. I am the youth spokesperson in the environmental association ADEGA. I believe that through education, both formal and non-formal, we can raise awareness and change society for the better. Youth is the future, so I would like to influence with my actions in this segment of the population.

As a climate and environmental communicator, I will communicate the results and findings of official agency reports, as well as the most relevant news to make it easier for people to understand. Information on the current state of the planet is a right and is essential in the climate fight.

In this sense, the creation of content in social networks is an entertaining and approachable way of communicating the greatest challenge facing humanity in this century.

Highly committed person, great vocation for cooperation, strong environmentalist character, I am delegate of the Spanish Association of Women in Energy. I believe that from my professional position as well as from my passion and enthusiasm I can transmit this energy of change. I have been working on environment and climate for almost 15 years and every day it is still necessary to force greater coordination in communication and social commitment. I am a researcher specializing in the intersection of diet, environment, and human health. As a European Climate Pact Ambassador, I recognize the essential role health professionals play in promoting sustainable diets, as well as the current gap in their knowledge on dietary sustainability. To address this, I am committed to developing tools that empower health professionals to offer dietary guidance that benefits both people and the planet. 

I am María, oceanographer and environmentalist with a wide professional experience related to the environment, marine environment, climate change and sustainable blue economy. I was born in Sanlúcar de Barrameda (Cádiz, Spain), at the mouth of the Guadalquivir River in front of the Doñana National Park. Perhaps, for this reason, I have always felt a great fascination for the marine environment and for nature.

As a Climate Ambassador, I will promote the objectives of European Green Pact at local, regional, and national level, collaborating at national, European, and international level. In doing so, leading by example, inspiring, and connecting with others will be essential. Specifically, as an ambassador I will be responsible for:

• Reporting with scientific and technical data on the climate and biodiversity situation in the media
• Organising and participating in talks and events
• Participating in projects, technical and/or scientific papers and disseminating them
• Carrying out volunteer actions and involving others, especially at the local level (community garden, coastal bird protection campaign, collection of plastics on beaches, etc.).                    

During the last years, I have supported and collaborated in different initiatives on Climate Change. Those experiences are my first value, and I have a solid network of contacts, with organizations and people.

I will continue with my tasks as a professor at the university with classes and projects. Also, I will share my knowledge with other educational levels.

I firmly believe that young people are the greatest strength we have. My mission is to motivate them, open their minds and empower them as changemakers.

Climate action relies on active youth engagement and informed decision-making. As an Ambassador, I will leverage my experience to raise awareness about key climate policies through webinars, courses, workshops, and more. I plan to continue empowering young activists in their fight for more ambitious climate action by providing them with the know-how and expertise to drive change at the local, regional, national, and European levels.

Sustainable Development activist and Climate change fighter, managing a social media account with sustainable facts and tips matching them with scientific studies and papers. Volunteer in the local & sustainable consumption cooperative Som Alimentació.

I am a biologist specialized in natural protected areas, with experience in environmental education, environmental impact studies and mediation of local stakeholders. Thanks to conferences and my master's degree, I have the necessary keys to include all kinds of groups in nature conservation and climate change mitigation. As an ambassador of the European Climate Pact, I plan to continue developing initiatives that promote environmental awareness and community participation. 

I am teacher with a passion for environmental protection, focusing on inspiring students to take action for a sustainable future. As an ambassador for the European Climate Pact, I promote local initiatives for climate neutrality. Additionally, as a Scientix ambassador, I support STEM education and environmental awareness in classrooms. Through leading eTwinning and Erasmus+ projects, I connect teachers and students globally to collaborate on sustainability. I believe education is essential to empowering future generations to address the climate crisis and protect our planet.
