I would like to focus on encouraging  and supporting community groups to take local action on big ticket issues such as climate action and reversing biodiversity loss. I believe that community groups have the skills and talents to make a big impact on global issues. I would particularly like to encourage communities to value and protect  their native biodiversity and actively engage in citizen science. I would like to encourage communities to be proud of the projects that they have developed.

Our economies are heavily dependent on nature. Climate change impacts natural resources and thus endangers our economies, our livelihoods, and our lives. As researcher, I am deeply interested in measuring financial risk stemming from these intrinsic interdependencies of economy, nature, and climate. As a green finance expert, I strongly believe in the power of joint decision making, building networks, such as the Sustainable Finance Forum, and spreading knowledge to empower better decisions.

With a strong sense of justice and responsibility, I am deeply committed to working towards a sustainable future which is reflected in my personal lifestyle (reducing my footprint), volunteering to inspire and enthuse others (increasing my handprint) and a professional career (my own business Changemakers Unite). As a Climate Pact Ambassador I’m willing to amplify my engagement to raise awareness in all these areas through hosting fun workshops and events and bringing people together.

As a keen supporter of peer-to-peer knowledge sharing, I wish to guide the young through the climate net-zero path and help them understand the necessity of our collective actions for achievement of the climate goals. The energy transition might be the most daunting task for my generation, so I am a firm believer tin reinforcing citizen engagement and youth empowerment. The EU Climate Pact Ambassador Programme would be my new “magic hat” to serve the cause via:

1. Organizing dedicated workshops on specific climate topics;

2. Preparation and distribution of educational materials;

3. Proactive media sharing of climate-related topics/updates.

I believe that natural ecosystems have a large potential to contribute to climate change mitigation. We only need to find a way to do this at a high speed (we have only seven years left to 2030 and only 27 to 2050) and at large scale. To attract the interest of numerous managers of natural ecosystems in the EU during these coming years, we need to come up with a very simple method which could be extrapolated fast to be applied at a vast scale. This means that: (1) carbon accounting must be very simple and cost-effective, (2) owners and managers of natural ecosystems must be attracted to participated in the instruments which facilitate carbon sequestration, (3) yet, the activity must show additionality and the result demonstrate the permanence aspect. With my knowledge of the forest sector, and my network of acquaintances, I would like to contribute to facilitating to the emergence of instruments - in marshland, afforestation and forest ecosystems - which meet these criteria.

As a European Project Manager for the NGO WECITIZENS and through my activism, I am committed to advancing climate action by fostering community engagement and awareness. As a European Climate Pact Ambassador, I plan to organise workshops, events, and discussions that empower individuals to understand sustainability and climate resilience. By collaborating with regional networks and EU representatives, I aim to inspire impactful local actions supporting a green transition and sustainable future.

I am a member of the Council of the European Environmental Bureau in representation of the Portuguese NGOs. I was Vice-chair of Quercus and a journalist writing about environment and human rights and I collaborated with various campaigns and collectives, including Urtica, Aterra and “Save Montijo”. Loss of biodiversity and climate change are existential threats and we all have to do as much as possible to inflect the current situation waking up many politicians and decision-makers and restoring hope.

As a journalist and communicator I want explain the climate changes with each little step that we make every day.

We live in a dusty air, we drink dirty water, we produce too much waste.

We have to care because of us and our children. We should know more about the problems to solve the together.

Now I am working in the most popular business media Economedia, Capital Weekly. I am organizing events for digital and green transformation.

 Aware of the climate problem that we collectively face, I wish to explain and share the actions that need to be taken to help the fight against climate change.

Graduated in political science, I have specialised in new economies. I work as a speaker, disseminator and teacher on issues promoting sustainable economic development based on the circular economy. I have been linked to public management and the environment for more than a decade, where I have held various executive positions, in which I interacted with numerous local and national governments and international organisations.

As a promoter of the new paradigm of the circular economy since 2015, I have been a speaker at numerous international meetings. I am the author of the books “Circular Economy, cultural change” (2019), “How to click towards a new economy. A circular revolution with the human being at the center” (2021) and “Change the economy and you will change the world. From the end of the era of abundance to a new prosperity” (2023).

Engaging youth in climate discussions is crucial for a sustainable future. As a board member of "Gaia - Unge for et grønt erhvervslis," I actively involve young people in shaping Danish business practices related to climate, environment, and energy. My work in public affairs at a energy company, emphasizes the importance of renewable energy and electrification. Currently interning in Brussels, I aim to influence European legislation, fostering collaboration between youth and the green sector.

At my current role in an energy agency, I promote sustainable heating solutions and help people adopt greener practices. As a Pact Ambassador, I aim to host engaging awareness events, foster dialogue across generations, and bridge citizens, local actors, and EU initiatives to inspire collective climate action. I believe that sustainable everyday practices must be accessible and inclusive for all ages and economic backgrounds.

I am a 16-year-old student actively engaged in sustainability and climate change. I am a member of the Youth Parliament and the Climate Commission. Additionally, I serve on the Climate Pact Commission in my community. As a UNICEF Youth Ambassador and the president of the LRSL_Actionteam4future, Luxembourg’s first sustainability committee, I see my role as a bridge between the younger generation and the important initiatives within our community.

I am an environmental economist and communication specialist with hands-on experience in digital media, project management, and climate advocacy. As a Climate Pact Ambassador, I will work to spotlight the importance of biodiversity economics, the blue economy, and climate finance. Drawing on my background in content creation and partnership-building, I am dedicated to engaging diverse communities in climate action and fostering environmental education to support a more sustainable future.

For 26 years, I have held the post of mayor in Kunsziget, Hungary. I implemented a complex settlement development, during which we paid special attention to the creation of biodiversity and climate change for energy saving, alternative energy sources, for nature protection, saving food, for creating climate aware communities.

My goal is to further develop the results achieved and to encourage communities to implement them in their environment.

As a climate ambassador, I would work together to protect the values of our Earth.

I have been filling the eco-manager position of the Municipality of Tatabánya County City since 15.10.2021. Based on my qualifications – BSc in Geography, MSc in Nature Conservation Engineering.

I have always focused on environmental protection and air cleanliness protection. My first job was at an NGO dealing with environmental education and nature conservation. I participated in the preparation and implementation of several domestic and EU environmental and nature conservation tenders. I have experience in organising and conducting events, as well as giving lectures.

As a Climate Pact Ambassador, my planned activities include:

• Social media updates.
• Writing articles (blogs, websites, printed media) or giving presentations.
• Organising or attending events that have visible links with the Climate Pact.

I am a philosopher of science and technology, researching the the sustainable use of digital tech for environmental and social resilience. I am committed to developing technologies that can support human and non-human life and help address social inequities, rather than endangering our societies and ecosystems. To this aim I lead the Public Science Lab to promote dialogue and collaboration across researchers, citizen groups, public administrations, small industries and policy-makers.

I'm the founder and CTO of Monomeris Chemicals, an innovation that is finally making it possible to eliminate one of our planet's biggest pollutants: global, carbon-based, harmful and growing pollution. Our solutions contribute to the development of a carbon-free circular economy, while managing the end-of-life of products from a wide range of sectors (packaging, textiles, automotive, chemicals, etc.).

CHILDREN ARE OUR FUTURE! I am a kindergarten teacher living in Kajárpéc. According to my view, we are responsible for all our decisions, thus we all affect the future of the Earth.
