Climate Pact Ambassadors

This year, I will continue to learn with my students about how to think about the future, in order to meet the major challenges we face in the fight against climate change. Shared knowledge will give us the tools to deal with uncertainty, eco-anxiety, the speed at which changes in society and the international order are occurring, and to come up with responses to the global crisis of climate change. To achieve these results, I commit myself as a person and as a teacher to continue studying and learning from what science, technology, experience and our society teach us in order to reverse climate change and achieve a sustainable model of life in peace with nature.

Former Research Director of the National Research Council (CNR), Head of the Secondary Section and Senior Associate Researcher at the Water Research Institute (IRSA-CNR) of Brugherio (MB), for around 40 years he has been involved in studies on the climate of glacial areas and high and low altitude alpine lakes, of circulation of pollutants in lakes and rivers and for about thirty years of acid rain. From 1989 to 2015 he participated in the construction and management of networks of meteorological monitoring stations in the Himalayas and Karakorum and for over two decades he has dedicated himself to the creation of databases of river and lake water bodies. Since December 2020 he has been Ambassador of the European Climate Pact, and was recently the founder of the EuCliPa.IT APS Association, of which he is currently the secretary. He is the author of over 190 publications, 100 of which in international journals, and conducts editorial review of scientific articles.

I am responsible for sustainable development for the rubber industry in France. I support manufacturers on climate-related topics : greenhouse gas mitigation, eco-design, water, energy, deforestation, etc. I work at both the national and European levels to help manufacturers move towards a more sustainable future. I strive to engage as many people as possible in creating a world that operates sustainably, particularly through awareness-raising, organizing events, and sharing knowledge.

As an Ambassador of EU Green Deal, I am focusing on policies adapted to small urban areas. Specifically, I will dedicate my work to assessing carbon sinks, protecting forests and their biodiversity, promoting mountain communities and developing remote areas. Also, sustainable mobility, clean energy generation and awareness raising are amongst my immediate interests.

I am Head of the Center for Sustainability in Arts and Culture at the Danish Institute for Cultural Policy Analysis. With years of experience in the green transition in Denmark and the Nordics, I serve on the steering committee for the Nordic Green Roadmap for Cultural Institutions. I have worked as an eco-manager for major cultural institutions, led the Nordic Green Accelerator, and collaborated with Julie’s Bicycle and Theatre Greenbook.

I am part of several associations that strive for climate justice, providing public commentary and legal support in climate litigation, while finishing a degree in International and European Law, researching differences between the EU and US climate industrial transition. I am Secretary-General of JEF Portugal and legal advisor to ZERO climate association, and was General Coordinator of ECTA, Youth Delegate to the World Forum of Democracy and President of the National Council of Law Students.

I’m a legal expert in environmental law, focused on exposing how fossil fuel ads and sponsorships delay climate action and undermine the Paris Agreement and EU Green Deal; much like tobacco ads once delayed health policy. In 2026, I’ll promote the Dutch fossil ad ban as a legal precedent. Through talks, workshops and op-eds on climate misinformation, I aim to build public and political support for similar bans across Europe. Together, we can reclaim the public domain for a fossil-free future.

As an Ambassador, I am deeply committed to catalysing and pollinating impactful change in the fight against fossil fueled climate change. My mission is to set an inspiring example by transitioning my historic-designated home to solar energy, doubling my fossil-fuel-free kilometers through cargo biking, advocating for community solar and improved cycling infrastructure in Luxembourg, and supporting sustainable agriculture. I aim to promote sustainable practices, policy advocacy, and community engagement to create a greener, more resilient future for all. Together, we can tackle the pressing climate challenges of our time.

People, Planet, Prosperity and Purpose. The year is 2021. As humanity we've created a situation where none of these quadruple bottom-line impacts are addressed holistically, across either the environmental or social dimensions. The only way to counteract this trend is through positive community action and education. We need a global mindset for these global problems, that our generation now must address. Happy to share my knowledge and support those wanting to make a positive impact.

For the last 6 years I have been the Councillor in the town hall of Torrevieja in Spain, with responsability for the international residents. In our area around 50% of the population is foreign and many of them do not speak Spanish and do not follow the Spanish press. I see it as one of my most important roles to communicate to the different communities how to act in order to protect the environment.

I'm the director of Take Action Global, an NGO working on climate education globally. I believe that education is crucial to tackle the climate emergency. We work with +6 million teachers and students globally. 
I have been a former teacher who was announced to be one of the best teachers globally by Bill Gates. My work has been featured in Kief Davidson's documentary "Heroes for the Planet". I received an honorary doctorate in the UK in 2024. 

I believe climate action starts with awareness, access to information, and great storytelling. As a Climate Pact Ambassador, I work to empower SMEs and young people in Romania and Spain to understand their climate impact and use technology as a tool for change, bridging knowledge, innovation, and purpose for a more resilient future.

I am a youth worker, project manager at GEYC, as well as an environmental activist. My mission is to drive change through the power of example and empower the youth to engage in opportunities, transitioning towards a more sustainable way of living. I actively contribute to raising awareness about climate change and as a Climate Pact Ambassador, I aim to facilitate more workshops on sustainability topics to build the youth's knowledge and green skills for a more resilient and open-minded future.

I am CEO of Music Declares Emergency Denmark and as so part of an international movement for climate action. I have worked in the music industry for more than 25 years and have devoted my professional career to accelerate the green transition within the music business. I am committed to creating space for permanent and necessary changes and put pressure on both my own industry and the political arena.

Researcher in coal transitions network and in The DCN Southeast Europe Hub. Effective communication and informed policy-making have never been more crucial in the action on the climate crisis. As an European Climate Pact Ambassador my aim is to develop a network of all the interested stakeholders to transfer the knowledge of the European Green Deal  and increase the capacities for people’s better green well-being through the exchange of best environmental practices/policies.

I am a member of the ESDN Youth Network dedicated to amplifying youth voices in EU-level decision-making. I believe in the power of young people to shape a sustainable and equitable future. I advocate for the Sustainable Development Goals and support initiatives that advance climate justice and a fair green transition. I use social media to create educational and inspiring content that builds awareness and empowers young people to take action.

I am the head of the Andalusian Climate Change Office, in touch with the academia and universities, businesses,and public administrations (local, national). We have a budget of 11 million euros just for Office activities, primarily for technical consulting but also for emissions offsetting projects. I have a direct team of 15 people, and an indirect team up to 40. I am passionate about highlighting what we do:sustainable events, carbonfootprint, offsetting,SDGs, mitigation&adaptation strategies

I am a senior leader with 25 years of experience managing complex climate policy, energy transition, and EU projects. As Head of Climate Change and Energy at ART-ER, I connect high-level strategy with regional implementation. As an Ambassador, I commit to translating complex climate policy into accessible public dialogue, focusing on a Just Transition, the role of innovation and new technologies and ensuring trust, empowerment, equity and dialogue as the heart of our human-centric green economy.

I am a climate action consultant, facilitator, and immigrant woman based in Copenhagen. Through cirka cph, I design creative spaces that empower young people from diverse backgrounds to take climate action and find belonging in their communities. As a Climate Pact Ambassador, I will host Climate Action Labs that use storytelling, co-design, and dialogue to turn care for the planet into shared action and hope.
