Climate Pact Ambassadors

I am an English and former Turkish teacher, currently residing in Germany and part of the Ludwigsburg Elternverein. As a teacher trainer in Turkey, I raise climate awareness and train 200 teachers annually on sustainability. As a European Climate Pact Ambassador, I will organize climate action workshops, write climate-focused articles, and launch a school-wide sustainability challenge to promote climate action and engage groups with lower levels of climate awareness.

I am a community Psychologist and I teach at the University of Padua, and I am an International Photogreporter for Getty Images and international magazines. I work for years with the technique of Photovoice that I teach at University, and whit I am working with the Italian group of ambassadors for Climate Pact, Euclipa.it, for creating awareness and to activate citizens in finding adaptive solutions based on Nature Based Solutions Model and to create bridges between citizens and institutiions.

Sustainable planning is key to sustainable living. I work in the municipal planning department, focusing on digital innovation and sustainable urban development. I lead projects on digital twins and data-driven decision-making, such as urban heat island monitoring and green infrastructure mapping. I believe data is a powerful storytelling tool to engage citizens and policymakers in building a more sustainable and resilient Vilnius.

I'm an Environmental Science student with a great drive towards a sustainable future. I actively work to raise awareness about the impacts of climate change on vulnerable communities and advocate for action by developed societies to ensure environmental sustainability. I intend to create a more sustainable campus through projects like publishing a piece on campus sustainability, hosting a sustainability week with different eco-challenges and explore how the school can become a pact partner. 

I am an engineer, eco-feminist, and climate activist. As a representative of a studio of engineers and architects and the secretary of the Italian Association of Female Engineers and Architects in Lecce, I raise awareness about climate change's impact on urban transition, gender equality, and women's empowerment. Committed to sustainability and gender equity, I aim to facilitate knowledge exchange and showcase successful examples to demonstrate effective implementation of transition processes.

My name is Łukasz Pająk, and I am an environmental educator with experience in promoting eco-friendly attitudes and protecting the environment. Since 2015, I have been the editor-in-chief of the portal "Włącz oszczędzanie" ("Turn on Saving"). As a Climate Pact Ambassador, I plan to regularly publish articles about ecology and climate change. I will also be active on social media to raise environmental awareness in society.

I am an academic teacher, climate educator, academic activist and researcher working on addressing the pressing issue of climate crisis within my organization and community through exploring and implementing approaches that are inclusive towards multiple actors (including nonhumans) and help us to stay within planetary boundaries. My main fields of interests include: climate action and justice, posthumanism, degrowth and how we do management in the Anthropocene, both bottom-up and top-down.

I'm Nadia, brand consultant with a keen interest in green economy and sustainability. 

As an International Relations graduate, I focus on understanding the global issues of our times and find ways on how to effectively deal with them. 

Climate change is indeed the biggest challenge of our generation, it is our call to act on it. As a youth activist and international speaker I raise awareness though activities that promote a more green future and society, starting from actively engaging today.

I am a sustainability enthusiast and co-founder of the employee-driven climate action consultancy, cirka cph and I am dedicated to connecting people, place, and policy in the green transition. My work focuses on helping cities and communities translate climate goals into meaningful local action through dialogue, collaboration, and learning. As a European Climate Pact Ambassador, I aim to make climate engagement more inclusive, relatable, and rooted in everyday life.

I am the Head of Europe Direct Attica-PRAXI Network, a National Contact Point for EIT Climate in Horizon Europe and an Advisor at Enterprise Europe Network. Over the years, I have been involved in multiple awareness raising activities focusing on green transformation of SMEs, among others. As a Climate Pact Ambassador, I aspire to organize events promoting EU policies for combating climate change while engaging with media and relevant stakeholders. I hold a Bachelor in Physics and an MBA. 

I'm a young professional specialized in nature protection, focusing on forest and community management. I assist in community-based forest management, resource sustainability, and forest resilience. Actively involved in European Youth projects, I advocate for solutions to social challenges, intercultural dialogue, and environmental initiatives. As a European Climate Pact Ambassador, I bring a multidisciplinary perspective, committed to sustainable development and responsible resource management.

I consider the environmental protection motto "think globally, act locally" important, therefore I actively participate in local initiatives. I have been promoting the importance of environmental and climate protection for more than two decades. As a university lecturer, I try to authentically represent green aspirations among my students and colleagues. I believe that the most important issue of the 21st century is creating harmony between humans and the environment.

I am a scientific associate at an NGO that supports small and medium-sized enterprises in improving their working conditions. Environmental action and sustainability are a focus, particularly how to make sustainable practices accessible to SMEs with minimal cost and effort. As an active promoter of youth participation over the past years, I aim to bring the topic of sustainability into existing networks and create content that breaks it down into understandable terms accessible to non-experts.

I am the mayor of the Municipality of Orestiada since January 1st 2024 and professional Mechanical Engineer MSc with over 25 years of experience in the fields of Renewables, Solar Energy and Energy Efficiency projects. Member of the Standing Committees of the Technical Chamber (T.E.E.) of Thrace for issues of "Education and professional issues", "Industry, Energy and Natural Resources".Vice President of the Panhellenic Association of Graduated Electrical and Mechanical Engineers of Evros region.

As a circular economy expert at the Tallinn Strategic Management Office I ensure that the city of Tallinn, as an organization, moves towards a circular economy. As a former teacher, I am passionate about environmental education for both children and adults. To raise awareness about the problem of single-use items, I launched a traveling art exhibition called "Let's go to Zero!". I believe that the average consumer must be aware of environmental issues in order to demand systematic changes. 

As Climate Pact Ambassador, I will use my experience as a PhD candidate in circular economy and a project manager for EU-supported programs to promote sustainability and inspire others to do so. Community events like beach clean-ups and storytelling contests will get people interested, and I'll provide information from my OECD circular economy study. I will convene relevant stakeholders and promote realistic climate solutions because there is no such thing as waste, only resources out of place"

I am a sustainability expert with over 35 years of experience in sustainable tourism, energy efficiency, and climate resilience. As a European Climate Pact Ambassador, I will focus on promoting sustainable tourism practices, enhancing energy efficiency in buildings and infrastructure, and advancing the circular economy. My goal is to raise awareness and drive action, especially in underrepresented sectors, to create a measurable impact in the fight against climate change.

As a physicist with a master's degree in Environmental Management Strategies and from the very first years of my service as Mayor of Fyli, I have fully supported and encouraged the advocacy of the Sustainable Development in the Municipality as well as the achievement of Climate Neutrality. My actions will include: cooperation with local communities - implementation of energy saving projects, circular economy and generally drastic reduction of the carbon footprint of the municipality.

I am a physicist, Antarctic researcher, and speleologist. At the Space Research and Technology Institute (Bulgarian Academy of Sciences), my work explores how solar variability and climate change shape glacier and karst environments. As part of Bulgaria’s expeditions to Livingston Island, I install microclimate sensors, map crevasse–drainage networks, and analyze meltwater pathways and surface energy balance.
